Well it's been over 6 months and I think (my sister will hit me when she sees that) I finally made my mind up on my wedding colors. My first thought was of course pink. My Mom said that would be dumb then I read on somebody's blog that the bridesmaids looked like bottle's of pepto in pink bridesmaid dresses. So I stared looking at different colors. I got a Davids bridal bridesmaid catalog and totally fell in love with their color Sangria. I felt it was a cross between my favorite color pink and my fiances favorite color purple. I went about 150 miles to the nearest Davids bridal store. The actual color looked nothing like in the catalogs and on the computer. So back to square 1. I started to think about lavender & purple. In fact they use to be my favorite colors when I was younger. I now see purple every where esp. to do with weddings. And I thought it now would be easy to pick brides maid dresses. A couple of trips to Oregon to wedding stores over several months only to find out that there are several different kinds of lavenders and purples. There goes the simpleness of picking colors and bridesmaid dresses.
