Wow! I can't believe it's been 20 days of married life! We went on a full 2 week honeymoon & that was amazing, but now we've been home for the week.
The wedding weekend was amazing! So very busy though! The advice of other brides is soooooo very true when they say the day will fly by in the flash of an eye! We were being pulled one way then to the next all day long, and at times it was hard to have time with each other. My design & artistic concept came together 100% and was soooooo gorgeous. I could not be happier with all the work I put into the wedding. Everyone was raving on how amazing I did & how the extra touches were so great. Yes... I went over budget to have all of these extra things.... but I soooooooooooo loved it all! In the end we stayed within 2000 of our original budget and pulled off a spectacular event 100% DIY Everything didn't go 100% as planned, per usual, but it was not enough to get in the way of our love! Nothing could matter of factly! Thank God we are both blessed with being carefree & easy going as we did have to overcome issues. #1 issue was my itinerary with my bridesmaids & too much alcohol the night before for one of my bridesmaids. None of the girls followed the itinerary of getting ready with me except my best friend & one other bridesmaid who got her hair done with me and got ready mostly off the ranch. The rest were all late, and backed up the entire ceremony by almost an hour. The song I requested to walk down the aisle to at a very specific point during the song, was played entirely too quiet and started at the begining of it which is a little more boring... My veil got snagged off twice during the ceremony by my sisters jewelery, But I may go into all the details on the bridesmaids, etc. in another post. For now, I want to share with you are phenominal photos!!!!!!! Our photographer was such a blessing & I adore his work, with this assistance of his angel of a wife (whom was my makeup artist as well) My advice: Things will go wrong!!!!!!!!! Go with the flow! It really doesn't matter! It matters more to me now more than it did on that day, but in the end I'm wise enough to know the number 1 thing is Gods gift of marriage & Love to me and my amazing husband. Relish Every Moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try to spend as much time that day with your husband! Oh, & relish in your planning & every day! It is sad for it to be over, but I can't believe how wonderful my hardwork turned out. Thanks for all the support & help here on WBC! They are new in the boxes, but it seems some of the outer boxes have stuck together a tad. Quiet honestly, I would take them out of the boxes and display in vases anyways as shown in one of the pictures on the left, because it took too long to get them out of the box and hand to guests. If I would have done over, that's what I would have done. They were a hit at my wedding! We loved them! I will post pictures of the wedding soon, but waiting for some from the photographer. Bachelorette Party Weekend
Santa Barbara
So this Friday we leave for my weekend Bachelorette Party.
Friday we leave for a wine tasting tour, go out Friday night, relax & have mimosas on Saturday, then go out again! Yay! Too fun! I am so ready for a weekend away from planning & my wedding cluttered home! Our hotel is super cute & goes well with my bright personality. It's Hotel Oceana, on the beach in Santa Barbara. We got a Junior Sweet for 4 of us girls, which is different than the one in the picture, as it has 2 rooms. |

Tablecloth length Please Help
Update:
I had previously purchased the 78" but am now reselling them. I ordered the 108" for my rounds & I had to order additional for my rectangular tables, so I put a big order in. I also ordered a separate orange tablecloth for our sweetheart table, and organza overlays for all of the tables. For the rounds it will be a 60x60 square organza overlay, and for the rectangulars it will be a runner in organza. Thanks for all your answers and feedback ladies! I'm in a pickle and now can't decide what length I want our tablecloths. I need to decide soon. I had heard shorter is better so that the guests can easily get in and out of the table without being annoyed by the cloth, but now I want longer. Our tables are 60" rounds. I had originally decided to go with 78" cloths which would give only a 9" drop, now I'm thinking of going with 108" because they are more formal? What do you girls think? What are you using? What do you like as a guest? |

I couldn't help myself, I found one "Buy it Now" Brand new one with tags for $64 with free shipping. Pretty sure that's not too much more than Victorias secret had them for? Yay!!!!!! Now I'm a "Sexy Little Bride"! So try ebay if you're willing to spend more on yours. |

Wow, it's almost here!
I remember when it was 300 and something days!!!! Wow! It's truly the final countdown now. I'm getting more emotional & also just hoping I am able to pull all of this hard planning off.
