This is duplerm's Red Wedding!

After much searching for the perfect dress for my maid and matron of honor, I came across this little slice of perfection from Alfred Angelo. It is so flattering on ALL body types and actually looks better on my girls than it does on this skinny twig of a model.

This is my engagement ring. AKA: perfection!

We are going to be doing a combination of three things for the cake. We are ultimately doing a cupcake tower with a small cake for us to cut on top. We are also doing a cookie table.
We -and by "we" I mean "I" can't decide between the two cake toppers shown here.

Ok and as a side note, I will not be having orange cupcakes or a cartoon/cabbage patch cake topper as shown here. I'm just using this as an example of the size and type of tower that we'll be using.

I originally wanted red gerbera daisies, but I think it would have been red overload!! So I've decided to carry a white bouquet similar to this one and have my maids carry a mix of reds and copper and cream ranunculus....

This is not my dress. This is the Alfred Angelo version of my dress. I took a HUGE chance and went online and had a dress shop in Beijing make me a copy of this one. My dress actually looks BETTER than this! The colors are the same but the embroidery is a little different and more intricate. Also, the train is much longer than what is shown here. I am considering adding spaghetti straps to it in that same red color......
