Turn to couturiers to get exactly wedding gowns you dream of
Choosing a wedding dress is a huge decision for brides to be. You have to consider the budget, fabric, the style and so on, and you've got to try on dozens before you find a style you like and that suits you - in the colour and fabric you want. Then, you pray the size ordered for you fits the way you hope it will. But some brides never find a style they want. Others have their own idea of what they're looking for but just can't find it. Others want a design that no one else has.
The big advantage of custom-made wedding dresses over mass-produced ones is that they are made to fit specifically for the customer.
"With custom design, the bodices will fit just right," says designer Rubby from ‘eastbridal’. "Sometimes that's hard to get off the rack."
And the attention to small details - hand-sewn beadwork and embroidery, hand-rolled silk rosettes - are things you won't see on off-the-rack wedding gowns.
"You have one woman who does the entire dress for you," says Grace of Eastbridal Designers, who, along with her team, has been in the field over 7 years.
What’s more, custom-made bridal dresses will often end up costing more, it doesn't necessarily mean breaking the bank.
Designer Lily in Eastbridal makes it a point of working within clients' budgets and has done custom wedding dresses for as little as $160.
Brides can go to designers with their own ideas, or choose from among samples. So they could get exactly what they dream of. provides you with so many custom made wedding gowns, you could have a look and pick your dream wedding gown without a designer price!
