Hiring a videographer to capture the moments of your big day is crucial. I think one of the biggest mistakes you can make is having a family member capture the day for you. Hire a professional! You are spending a fortune on this 1 day...you should have someone capture it from beginning to end. Make that day worth every penny and have someone capture the things that you want to remember from that day. One thing I know that I'm looking forward to watching over and over and over again is the look on my fiance's face when I walk down the aisle.
My fiance and I actually booked a "cinematographer". They are on the higher end as far as pricing goes...but we agreed that a bulk of our budget will be going towards capturing our day the way we wanted it to be captured. They do it more like a "cinema" style type of video instead of a documentary. They are really unique and genuinely get to know each couple's style.
