Red Bubbles? Sparklers? Petals? What to do?

Bubbles? Sparklers? Petals?
What to do?

Hello everyone. I am BRAND NEW to this site and I had a quick "detail" oriented question for you.

I am trying to decide what we should do about our exit from the church. The wedding will be in the "dead" of winter and if it's really cold I'm not sure what people usually do?

Bubbles really won't work...

Birdseed?
Petals?
Sparklers?--we were thinking about doing this as a photo with the bridal party later as we leave the church (from doing pictures)

Or...do we just lose this particular thing and not "throw" anything?

What do you think?

I don't plan on throwing anything. Our ceremony and reception will  hapen at the same place. I do like the sparkler ideal but the venue doesn't allow them. So right now I don't have a clue.

Sparklers would be great in the winter or the ribbon wands to add some brightness to the cold winters day! You dont have to do anything though its your day, your rules ; )

I love the idea of sparklers but I personally don't think they are worth the cost of giving them to everyone. I like the idea of using them as props in photos.

I think birdseed would be a great thing to throw, but I am going to do my photos after the wedding so there really wont be any way to line everyone up to throw anything!

Thanks so much for all the ideas.  I just don't want people to feel like they are missing out on anything by us not "running out," which is so traditional.  I will think about all of this :)
