Saw these on a wedsite today and thought they were such a great idea. What a pretty way to historically document your dress and wedding date. Just sew them inside your dress and future generations will be delighted to find this tag. You could also work them into your bouquet or wedding scrapbook or your something blue.

Im curious to know if anyone has experienced "not so friendly" service while bridal shopping? Last Saturday was my very first bridal shopping experience EVER and it was the worst. The store where I went to had terrible service, they employed teenagers who were rude and didn't want to help me. I specifically went into this store to look for bridesmaids dresses and all they had were a rack of 15, unorganized and out of date looking dresses. The sales associate was quick to say that they didn't have any of the designer dresses before looking and what do you know they had two, not the style that I wanted but STILL. I was so pissed off that I left the store before telling them a piece of my mind and then on Monday morning I called the store manager to complain. I really hope that the rest of my bridal gown shopping experience won't be this way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey ladies, Since my wedding is in my hometown which is about an hour away from where I currently live.... I was trying to decide if I should get dressed at : 1. My parents home 2. Get Dressed at the Hotel or 3. Get Dressed at the location So...what did you doing? Thanks Ladies!

My girls are wearing dark orange tea length dresses. Do you think they should all wear the same shoe, or can I let them chose their own? What's your opinion?

I was thinking that since the wedding dress is the single most important factor of any wedding, I really need to look fierce (lol). I'm seriously thinking about the A line/Princess dress. I think this style is sexy and has an elongating effect. Also, I want to blow my FI away when he sees me walking down the aisle, ...so what are you ladies doing to create your style? Are you going for a Wedding dress that's sleek, simple, grand or elaborate? A-line/Princess,
Empire, Mermaid/Fishtail, Ball Gown, or Column?

So my FI and I just got engaged in February the 13th to be exact. We've only told our close family and friends about our engagement until this weekend. We live in Los Angeles which is about 35 to 40 minutes away from my hometown of Claremont. Needless to say, David and I went to my hometown this weekend to enjoy our holiday weekend and to announce our engagement to the rest of the family. Well yesterday at our family cookout David and I announced our engagement only to find out that my dear 1st cousin Alexia just got engaged two weeks ago and is planning to get married on the SAME DAY...Labor Day weekend of 2009. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I can't believe this. My mother thinks that Alexia and I need to talk about this. Unfortunately Alexia and her FH were not at the cookout so I found out from my aunt, her mother. How in the HELL should I handle this????? Changing our date isn't an option. I really wanted this weekend. I honestly don't know what to do.


***UPDATE***

My cousin and I talked last night, she said that she told her mother that she was thinking about Labor Weekend but since then she and her FI are moving the date up and having a small intimate wedding this Christmas!!!! I'm soooooooooo happy that things worked out for the BOTH of us. She can be her Christmas Bride and I will be a Labor Day Bride.

Hey ladies what are you all doing for your old, new, borrowed & blue? I was thinking for my something old it would be my Grandpa’s monogrammed handkerchief. Something new would be a charm bracelet or wedding gown... the something borrowed will be my mother's diamond earrings and something blue will be the Garter or Blue-stone in my tiara.

I like bold colors so our wedding colors are burnt orange and dark chocolate. I was playing around with some different save the date cards and here is what I came up with. I can't decided because I like them all (lol), should I focus on the orange or chocolate.

I love vibrant colors check out the bling in the initials in the wrap! Hopefully I can have this wrap in orange.

I love flowers and all kinds. My favorite is White calla lilies. Hopefully i will be able to have them for a September wedding.

Instead of having table seat cards I thought hanging the cards with the guests names on the back of their chairs. Very similar to the one in the picture.

My FI and I just got engaged, so I'm new to the wedding blogs. Anyway, I'm interested in knowing if everyone is wearing a veil on their wedding day or a tiara, both or something else? Our wedding will be different and very non tradition, therefore I'm only doing a tiara. What are your thoughts?
