MY EXPERIENCE!!!!
Thanks nikkchikk for your wonderful post
Ladies!!!!!!!
I don't want to scare you all but after reading the blog about not being so open on wedding blogs and I had to share my experience.... a bride that I befriend recently I gave her my wedding website page, online IM, address (she wanted to mail me her newsletter). I was totally blind and didn't use great judgement about her, since she has TONS of great ideas and talks about her faith a lot which drew me to her in the first place. Well one day out of the blue I get a email saying that this "bride" wanted to add me to her reunion.com list, mind you I use my FH's lastname on that site so how in the heck did she find me, unless she was doing TONS of searching.... needless to say I googled her and she has been in jail for embezzlement yes EMBEZZLEMENT!!!! I'm sure she's has befriended many others. Just be careful of the brides who are eagered to see your personal wedding websites, your email address and IMs information all they need is your last names and they will search AWAY and potentially will do more!!!!!! ***NOTE***Once a couple has been targeted, the blog provides a wealth of exploitable information. What they look like, how they met, whos in their family, where they work, where gifts will be sent to |

Ask a Question
Is anyone having a "by invitation only wedding?"
My FI and I have decided to have a very formal and private wedding/reception. We are only inviting 100-120 family and close friends. Our wedding is by invitation only. All guests are accounted for (boyfriend/girlfriend/children etc. However, my mother thinks that its tacky and rude to state on our wedding website and invites that this is a by invitation only affair. Honestly, I don't know how else to say it. Is this rude or tacky, if so how would you word it without sounding rude or being tacky?

Ask a Question
When will you or when did you release your wedding site to your wedding guests?
So my FI and I aren't getting married until Sept 09, but our wed-site has been complete for a month now - I'm too impatient!
Is the too soon to release the URL to my guests, because when they actually NEED to look on it for updates etc, it will be old news. So I was thinking about releasing it until the New Year. I'm wondering when YOU released your URL to your guests, or when you INTEND to do so. |

Personalized Tags for Your Wedding Gown
Saw these on a wedsite today and thought they were such a great idea. What a pretty way to historically document your dress and wedding date. Just sew them inside your dress and future generations will be delighted to find this tag. You could also work them into your bouquet or wedding scrapbook or your something blue.

Not So Fun 1st Wedding Shopping Experience!!!!
Im curious to know if anyone has experienced "not so friendly" service while bridal shopping? Last Saturday was my very first bridal shopping experience EVER and it was the worst. The store where I went to had terrible service, they employed teenagers who were rude and didn't want to help me. I specifically went into this store to look for bridesmaids dresses and all they had were a rack of 15, unorganized and out of date looking dresses. The sales associate was quick to say that they didn't have any of the designer dresses before looking and what do you know they had two, not the style that I wanted but STILL. I was so pissed off that I left the store before telling them a piece of my mind and then on Monday morning I called the store manager to complain. I really hope that the rest of my bridal gown shopping experience won't be this way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
