After the Wedding...
So ladies,
After the wedding where will you and your husband be living... is everyone buying a new house, moving into an apartment, living with your parents or his parents? Or saving up to purchase your new place?Just Curious!!!
My fiance' and I purchased a home about 8 months ago. I'm still decorating and planning a wedding, whew.....

We will likely be living in an apartment, saving up for a house hopefully a year or so after the wedding. It all depends on where he ends up working.

We're in the process of house hunting.  If by the time we get married & there is still no house, I will move into his Townhouse with him.  If not, we'll be decorating our new House!

We're looking at houses now. Hopefully we'll be homeowners in the next few months.

I will move into his apartment and we will be living off his income together while we save all of my paychecks for a down on a home! We need to have money saved in a year before housing comes up again!

What will you be doing?

he'll still be in school, and if things work out, i should be attending cosmetology school almost immediately after the wedding so we plan on continuing to rent a place until school's finished and probably through till the first few years of us settling into steady jobs. We want to get all of our student loans paid off and upgrade our cars before we buy a house. Not to mention, there's also the possibility of him going military (he's not made a total decision yet) in which case there isn't really any point in buying a house just yet.

We have had our home for (9) years.......and will be back at our home once we are married.
Could not imagine spending this kind of money if we did not have a house....our budget would be a great downpayment.

We're already renting a house, we're saving for our own but I'm only 23 so I don't want to get that financially tied down so young, so we'll keep renting for another year or so and we're taking a bit of the deposit we've saved to go to LA, Vegas & Cabo Mexico (we're from New Zealand so it's a decent trip from here)

well we're about to move out of our apartment and in with his parents for about a month an a half....with only a month to go before the wedding, so that's a little stressful! but honestly, we'll save TONS of money and can put it all towards the wedding. we're still not sure where he'll get a job and when we know, we can decide somewhere in between my job and his, so we're waiting until after the wedding to find an apartment. we'll probably take the first year of our marriage and just save and pay off some school loans before we house hunt....though I've already started a bit!!!! :)

I already own a house, so we'll be living here for a few years.  In a few years, we will want to move outside the city.

What we'll do (we think) is live in the basement appartment, and rent the main house for some extra income.

We will be living in an apartment probably for about the first two years. Then we hope to have saved up enough money to buy a house! We are young, 22 and 23, so we knew we would need more time to save up!

We actually did it backwards. :)
We lived together for 3 years before officially getting engaged and setting a wedding date. Bought a house together last year.
