Trash The Dress? Ideas Please?
Hey ladies,
So it will be 6 months next month since we've been married and our AMAZZZINNNG wedding photographer/friend has offered to give me a TTD session! Now, when I first heard of TTD last year I didn't know if I agreed with it or not, but after seeing previous brides pictures, I thought that it could be a really cool way of being expressive and artistic after your wedding dress has already made it through the big day! Just wanted some of your crazy and unique ideas that we could possibly implement into our shoot...It will be in South America, so OCEAN & SAND will be a part of it for sure! :) Thnx ladies |

What's the most you would pay for a wedding dress?
So realistically speaking, whats the most you think you'd pay for a wedding dress? Not talking skies the limit here, but realistically?? lol! I was watching "Say Yes To The Dress" on the weekend (kinda an addict) haha and it got me thinking! It's fun to watch and some of these girls go wayyyy over the top

Honeymoon
Honeymoon: Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo & Buenos Aires here we come!!!!!!
So tomorrow is Good Friday, my 29th birthday and the start of our honeymoon! WOOHOO! We are from Canada and currently in Santiago, Chile. We will fly tomorrow to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and from there to Sao Paulo, Brazil We will than fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina. We will stay for a few days in each place and than come back to Chile and stay in Vina Del Mar (where we got married) and than go back to North America in May! SUPER PUMMMPED!!! :D

ONE DAY!!!!! eeeeeee!!!!
Well, we arrived in South America on Monday and immediately had a ba-zillion things to do including:
Monday April 4th Finally after months and months of speaking over skype, msn and bbm we were finally able to meet our wedding planner, decorator/florist. In the evening we went to view the location for our ceremony and reception! Tuesday April 5th Went to the registro civil to register our marriage Met with the photographer, hair stylist, makeup artist Wednesday April 6th Today we just did errands around town and are having our tasting for the reception dinner this evening. We've only been here two days so far and I'm beyond exhausted!!! Tomorrow my brides maids arrive eeee can't wait!!!! :D |

Got My Garter yaaay!!!
FINALLLLLY received my garter set in the mail today and couldn't be happier!!! YAAAY!!! The picture doesn't even do it justice Jules from Lollie Couture on etsy did a FANTASTIC job!!! They're the perfect colours for our purple/lavender, baby blue/sky blue and Tiffany blue wedding lol Thanks again Jules!!! <3

Earrings for my girls
My MOH was wearing these earrings the other day and I literally shrieked when I saw them as they are EXACTLY our wedding colours. They look pretty dull in the pic but I ordered them for my girls as our wedding colours are lavender, baby blue and Tiffany blue. Oh yeah only $12 at ALDO :)

Finally got ALL my girls dresses yaay!
Well this dress completes it, I finally bought all my girls dresses! I paid for their dresses as it was the least I could do as they are paying for their flight! My MOH's dress was more expensive but its perfect and I'm happy with the colours!
My MOH's dress is the blue with purple sash One of my brides maid will wear the lavender And my third will wear the "tiffany" blue! :) |

Engagement photos deleted??? WHAT?????
Ok, so basically, what had happened was, we had taken some fun photos in January 2009 at Sears, that we had taken literally a week before he proposed (I had NO idea what he was planning) even though the photographer kept saying "hmm these look like engagement photos to me..." lol. So anyways we ordered a few different shots and was done with it.
Now, 2 years later I realize that we gave almost all of them away and I now need them for our scrapbook!!! So I called them yesterday afternoon and turns out ALL PHOTOS GET DELETED AUTOMATICALLY after 6 months I wanted to die!!!! Especially because it's not like we can even get them re-done as he is currently not in the country at the moment! The woman on the phone was like: "Well, let me just check to make sure...What's your last name please? So I gave her my last name and she's like: "Uhh… your pictures ARE here, thats so weird, cuz they're ALWAYS automatically deleted after 6 months…woah it looks like one of the photographers chose YOUR shoot as proof of their work and thats the only reason your photos are still here" I actually can't believe it!!! Talk about a miracle!!!! :D :D :D |
