Chairs at Reception
Love the moss/sage green sashes, but I will be getting them with ivory chair covers and tablecloths, instead of the white.

Ceremony Decoration
Our Personalized Aisle Runner!
I was looking for something more unique to walk down the aisle on, than the red velour runner our venue offered and I ventured online to look for alternatives. There are many BEAUTIFUL handpainted aisle runners online, but they can be VERY expensive. Finally I ran into www.chicuniqueinc.com. They provide beautifully customized runners for a price that isn't completely ridiculous (although slightly ridiculous if you ask my Fiance, but that's another story).
Our runner will be ivory in colour, with spring moss green ribbon running up either side. In the middle of the runner will be this beautifully handpainted monogram. Since I am not going to have flowers on the chairs going down the aisle during the ceremony I think this will provide the WOW factor I am looking for. After the ceremony we are going to have it taken to the ballroom to be draped over the speech podium, so our monogram will be hanging on the front of the podium. I can't wait till it arrives! |

Wedding Flowers
My Bouquet will look something like this, with a twist!
**UPDATED AUGUST 12: Added photos of bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets**
Okay, Flowers have been an interesting ride. My bouquet will be done in mostly green florals with some champagne/ivory accents, while the bridesmaids will have bouquets that are mostly champagne/ivory with green floral accents. The flowers will mainly consist of: Sahara roses, ivory roses, jade roses, kermits, green hypericum, green spider mums. This bouquet is similar to what mine will be on the day of, except this one has too many berries for my liking, and is lacking the spider mums and kermits. For my "something old and something borrowed" I will have the pearl buttons from my mom's wedding dress pinned into the hand tied ribbon that will be braided around the stems. I will post a picture when I can find a good one. |

Wedding Invitation
Envelope Seals
My very first post! Hurrah!
I have really enjoyed looking around on this site so I thought I would add my own blog so that others could peruse my ideas. We ordered our invitation seals from an ebay seller (bydesigncreations). I initially tried to print some on my own, but it was extremely difficult to center them on the adhesive circles, even with the downloadable template provided by the company. Save yourself the time and hassle! From bydesigncreations it was only $6.00 for 108 seals! Perfection! |
