Wedding Dress

Wow.. has it ever been a long time since I've updated this!

I'll admit... I've been a real slacker on the blog front lately! And, to make matters worse, the only reason I'm here right now is because my mom told me that I should update this site.

Well, here I am and I have a TON of stuff to update!

Starting with the wedding dress! The girls and I spent countless hours at 3 different stores waiting for 'the one' to stand out for me. While I can now say that I am NOT the kind of girl who just instantly knows that a certain dress is 'the one', I can say that I have picked a dress that I have fallen in love with! I'm so so happy that all the girls (minus Steph.. damn Petawawa!) were there to help me with my decision, because as it turns out... I seem to really love a lot of styles!

I knew I wanted a form fitting, lace gown. Elegant, soft and romantic. That is what I envisioned for myself. Well, while I can say that it is elegant, soft and romantic... its definately not what I thought I would love! It is form fitting.. until just under the butt, where it shoots out semi-mermaid style.. cascading in soft, feather like tulle. I just want to have the neckline altered so that it is a sweetheart, and not so straight across. It's beautiful. I hope Devon loves it!

And thanks to my wonderful mama for buying my wedding dress :) I'm so happy that she was there to give me her insight too!

Next to figure out for my wardrobe for the day is the veil! I know I want cathedral length.. and would love it to have two layers to it.
