well for my ring i had looked at a few of the usual glitsy glammy blingy looking rings and although very beautiful they were both wayyy out of our price range and just not really me...
i had wanted something that in some way meant more to me than just something shiny...
a few years back my grandpa had passed away and within a couple of weeks i lost my grandma too i was 8.5 months pregnant with my son at the time and was really looking forward for him to meet them (we were very close) and so it was a ver hard time.
about a year later we went back to England (where im from and most of my family are still living) and my dad had given me my grandmothers wedding band and engagement ring he had said he wanted me to have them (before my fiance and i were engaged) ...
i kept them in a special box on my dresser all that time, they were very small and i didnt want to wear them on a necklace incase i lost them...
after we were engaged i decided my grandmothers ring would be perfect, they had been happily married for over 50 years and the rings deserve better than to live in a box...
my grandma would want me to wear them : )
i will be getting them resized soon and then theyll be ready to go
