Wedding day part 17

We walked into the reception area & our guests applauded Mr & Mrs Da Silva, Then we went straight to the dance floor as we wanted to do our first dance in the day light for good pics & we also wanted a good vibe for the wedding & we figured if we open the dance floor early then the guests would get in a party mood earlier & boy did it work. The dance floor was full most of the night & the people had a great time!

So our first dance was so much fun. We started dance lessons a few months before & felt pretty confident, We were just worried about my dress as it was big. It was quite a challenge as every time I turned the dress didn’t turn back quite as fast as I did so we laughed all the way through. It was so much fun. I can remember at a stage we were dancing & I kissed Vic, I’ll never forget the guest all going “aaahhhh”. I thought that was nice. I couldn’t help but giggle.
Vic & I chatted almost the whole song through. It is a moment that will always be very dear to my heart.
