Wedding Dress
Its official, I HATE my wedding dress~
Ok so I haven't liked the dress since the day it arrived. I could have returned it but thought that maybe with the alterations it wouldn't be bad......omg...it's 3 days until the wedding and I am now getting ready to spend my lunch hour tomorrow looking for a different dress....I just don't know what to do...on an up side I'm not crying about it.....

It's getting so close
I'm numb to the world
So it's 13 days to go and I'm so scatter brained it's crazy. I have pretty much everything done except my hair and nails. The dress is still being altered but that isn't worrying me. Though my dress isn't what I had hoped for. But hey, I'm getting married and that is all that matters. My MOH made Rob and I T shirts that say bride and Groom for us to wear the night of the bachelor/ette party. So cute. I'm not even sure what to blog about at this point, I'm finding myself kind of numb to everything. I am truly truly excited, I'm just quiet. Anyone else experiencing this?

We got it today!!! YAY
So this afternoon we went to the courthouse and got our marriage license. It was so exciting to know we are that much closer.....it's killing me...I want the wedding NOW! =)

"Monthly" Issue
Anyone else have one?
So.....I just realized that I will be on my period at the time of the wedding. Anyone else going to have this problem? Any suggestions? I feel so bad for Rob. Its weird posting something like this here...but at least you all can relate to worries.

Wedding Dress
Dress is here....
So the dress arrived on Friday. Not sure how I feel about it. It's not ugly, it's just that the material isn't as heavy as I was hoping it would be. I don't know how to explain it. I don't feel like a princess in it like I did in the original one. I have alterations that will need to be done and I will drop off the dress tomorrow for that. Hmmm......just disappointed that I'm not gaga over my dress....maybe it's just that I'm "pms'n" which is a WHOLE other subject.....

NOT SO, Bridal Shower
Now I know that a lot of women do the spa with their bridal party. But my MOH is taking it a bit further, we are taking the entire bridal shower. I am soooo excited. I didn't want anything traditional I just wanted to have fun.

So I did it....... I replaced my MOH
I finally had a talk with Marcy and I could tell she did not want to continue with MOH, but she just couldn't spit the words out. So I did it, I told her that she wasn't going to stand up for me. That I wanted her to feel relieved. She is afraid this will hurt our friendship but I assured her that it probably saved it. I did ask Becky to be my MOH and she was thrilled. I tell you I feel so much better. She has definitely revived my excitement for the entire wedding.

Flakey Matron of Honor
So when I became engaged I immediately asked my best friend to be my matron of honor. Now she and I are very close even though we don't talk every day anymore. Its been a year since I saw her in person even though we talk on the phone about once a month and email all the time. Anyway I asked her to be my matron as it just seemed like the right thing to do. Though I must admit I didn't feel completely ok with it. When I went dress shopping she stated she had plans already and asked that I plan it on specific days in which she could go. I did as she asked and she still flaked. I asked my boss/good friend Becky to go shopping with me instead. We had a great time. Becky has been there through all of my planning; invites, rings, dresses, places for our pictures, ideas with our theme in mind. She has gone crazy and I LOVE IT. Now my Matron Marcy has not done one thing for/with me. Becky came up with a cool idea for a spa party instead of a bridal shower. Marcy was like, Omg am I supposed to be planning this stuff for you? Well NO SHIT!! So she said she would get invites and set something up for after the spa, now she has said she thinks I have it handled and has done nothing more. Early on I think she sort of gave me an out telling me that she knows she isn't doing a good job as Matron of Honor and if I want to replace her she understands. I know that Marcy has ALWAYS been flakey. Should I just cut her loose? I really feel like Becky truly deserves to be my Matron. She has never once asked to be in the wedding or anything yet she supports it and me so well. What do you guys think?

Invitation Etiquette
So, I have my invitations all printed and ready to go. I ended up NOT going with the photo cards you see below. I went with the one you see on the left here. ANYWAY, I wanted to know everyone's opinion on photos. We have had a very quick engagement. We were engaged 7/9/08 and therefore did not have time for the STD cards. Hell I didn't even know about them. Anyway is it bad to include an engagement photo with the invitations themselves? I haven't been able to locate anything on the web that says otherwise. HELP! I need my invites to go out in the next week or so....
