My future MIL has a whole room in her house dedicated to stamps, card making, scrap booking & other crafts!! Last night I went over & we made our first attempt at our save-the-date cards. Please be honest & give me your opinion on it! Especially the 'live with passion' stamp & the butterfly. I'm happy with this as our first shot! By the way...the photo we used was just for practice. We will have a much better photo for the actual product.

Here are a few pics of our ceremony & reception site. I'll have more up soon. It's acutally a 'village' there are cottages, a hotel, upscale restaurant, a banquet building, culinary school w/ chef tables, a spa, pool, fitness room, billiard room & an entire Bridal Gallery!!

So I have my heart set on Letterpress but as we all know, they are very expensive. My FH is very handy & has agreed to try to build a letterpress! (total excitement!! YAY!!!) It should save us a couple grand... the invites I like have little butterflies sort of 'kissing' the trees. Very much along with the enchanted theme... I'd need to change the colors of the invites though

Just wondering if there are any other brides on here from Lancaster, PA? Would love to discuss local vendors, etc...

This is me in the dress the day I bought it. It's a Sottero & Midgley gown (appropriate since my married name will me Midgley). When it comes in I am having a corset back put on it as well as a sweetheart neckline. I can't wait to see my skinnier body in it! :-)

So my girls will be wearing chocolate brown dresses & I'm wondering what I should do for the guys. My FH thinks he should wear a tux since our venue is pretty elegant but I think a suit might look better....What are you doing?

Hey All!!

My fiance & I have just recently decided to completely change all of our wedding plans from a beach wedding in May (destination) to a rustic fall wedding in our home town. We are thinking that instead of going with the typical Fall colors & leaves, etc... we'd like to do sort of like an enchanted forest theme with a whole lot of class. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can find info on this?? I know we have plenty of time now since the wedding will be October 2009 instead of May but I'm a planner! :-)
