My mom & I visited the florist a couple weeks ago & we asked about an alternative to the traditional pin on corsage because my mom refuses to wear one like that. Our amazing florist introduced us to the 'bracelet corsage' They come in all kinds of colors & are a nice alternative to the traditional pin on corsage.

I love this! i'm stealing this idea! lol...they also have arm corsages that are really pretty, that just wraps around your upper arm.

This is exactly what my mom and FMIL are going to wear.  They loved the idea as well and it's so much prettier!

I had this idea for prom one year, and I actually thought about using it for the mothers, and grandmothers. I love it, I would defiantly go for it. and I'm orginally close to Scranton/Wilkes Barre area in PA.  I live in Boston now, What a change from the country life!

We did the same thing for all our lady corsages as I had no idea what my guests would be wearing.

I had one at grad (in 1990!) .  It was much better than a pin on corsage.  You've reminded me of it.  I'll ask my mom and FMIL what they'd prefer.  :)

dont hate me for being so technical but the bracelet corsage is actually the traditional one, then pins got some popularity and then moms carrying a miniature bouquet and now the bracelet corsage is coming back again, although its still very widely used

i know i'm a loser for knowing this.

I'm actually doing this myself and have a picture in one of my early blogs of a very pretty bracelet corsage with an orchid.
