Table Names

Kristopher, my FH & I are huge music lovers! We thought that one way to incorporate it into our wedding would be using our favorite musicians as the names of the tables. My question is: Do you think this is cheesy?? Would it sound silly to say "you're seated at the Bon Jovi table?? Just wondering...brainstorming...

Another option we were thinking would be to name the tables after our favorite places or something to do with fall....not sure...any ideas would be appreciated!

I think the artist idea is cool!
you can even do names as songs instead
like you are seated at the "Wanted dead or alive" table!
The fall idea is nice...but expected...do something a little more fun ;)

i don't think this is cheesy at all! i think it's actually a really nice, personal idea that reflects your style as a couple and that it will definately get guests talking to one another at their tables :) good job!

cute idea...i was going to have famous couples (romeo and juliet, fred and wilma, sonny and cher)for table numbers...:).  you can take pictures of your favorite places or you and him in front of it while you guys hold up signs of the number...and put it in frames:).  well any idea is a good one:)...have fun while doing it!!

I like your idea of the artist name but it might be better appreciated if it was incorporated more throughout the table.  For example if you had a funny picture in a frame of you 2 w/a fake jon bon jovi or somehow added him to a picture of you two.  Also, I like the idea soon2bmrslee had of taking pictures and framing them.
