our wedding day!
it was great!
soo here it goes,
we get on a plane on friday morning, and by we i mean me and 9 other people, the husband to be and my family. the flight was great, the landing was smooth and we arrived over the bright lights of vegas, it looks soo exciting! so from the moment i get on the plane i start snapping away at photos all in all about 700 photos! anyhow we walk around alll afternoon on friday i mean all afternoon! it was crazy and ist true what they say..only in vegas!!!!!!! i saw it all prostitution, super drunkness , well not me. i refused to be even a little bit hungover on my wedding day ..so saturday rolls around we get up super early, my hubby leaves to stay with his boys at a different hotel, an my makeup and hairgirl show up. omgggggggg glamsquad totally hooked it up. i had Neesha and sarah not only were they super hilarious and totally got along with my not so easy to get along with aunts and cousins,, but they were soo easy going and kept me going the whole time they were there. i will post some before and after pictures ...so the limo comes we get in and take off. i cant breath. im super nervous and yeah...we get there prepare and the music starts i walk down the isle and there he is. in his suit and chuck taylors. i see my family and they are all crying its crazy. it was a perfect simple but sweet all of 15 min ceremony! i will be back later with more details. im soo tired! vegas is crazy! |

randommm things ..
so i got jrs and my wedding band today, its so pretty nothing super fancy pants but it matches my ring has 11 round diamonds and super cute. jrs is a titanium ring and he likes it alot too.
i have officially booked with glamsquad for hair and makeup. i was a bit iffy, because i thought some of the pictures of hair styles looked dated, but i emailed them a pic of what i wanted (looks down to girl looking in mirror...and they assured me it would be no problem. my brother and sister in law agreed to pay for that ..phewwwwwwwwww what a load off my back. its only 160.00 but with tip i am expecting 200. uhmm what else. thats really it. im just really excited and wanting it to get here already! yaya! |

13 days till the big day~
and i AM FREAKING OUT. my friends who were not able to come told me they would try ....so i got my hopes up and got let down again. ugh. our bands are still not in yet, i laughed at makeupin the 702 for trying to make me pay 300 bucks for hair and makeup not including tip. and glamsquad has yetttttttttttttt to call me back.
i am also waiting for my veil to come and it has not.ugh! |

omg 29 days left till my wedding!
i amm so excited like words cannot even describe how excited i am! although i am having some minor setbacks.
for one, the hair and makeup people are crazy. 250 bucks for makeup in the 702 to do my hair and makeup like wow thats crazy i cant imagine that! and then i went to glamsquad and they quoted me 150 (minu tips of course) i still have tiny things to do but other than that i am just ready to go out there and be mrs rios! also i find myself starring at my ring alot more these days! |

whats going on
okay so this is for imdawn
so i decided that although i wanted to not be traditional and not have like a reception i still wanted an intimate ceremony. so we scoured the internet and after reading like 10000 miliion reviews we decided to go with a company called Vegas Weddings. they have many locations but we are getting married on the terrace of one of their chapel. its gorgeoussssssss i am going to post a pic. i have 5 aunts and uncles going 4 cousins my brother and sister in law and about 5 friends. so all in all we are looking at about 19 people flying from houston to vegas. with our package is all the traditional stuff. limo, bridal suit, bouquet boutniere, backround music, garter, unity candle and photographer . all for 400 bucks! (not including officiant fee and limo tip) which was given as a gift. ! i will wear a traditional white gown that i love and also got as a gift (look at post below) and my bridesmaids will wear black dresse with red roses in their hair (the color scheme we went with was black white and red) our ceremony will be held at sunset (i thought it would be a nice backdrop i mean come on its vegas!) after that we will be heading to dinner at the bellagio (also given as a gift) then from there we are off to party so far we (most of the bridal party) have bought our front of the line passes to the Palms ghostbar (you get acces to alll the bars in the palms by purshasing one ticket) and also to the bank ( another club ) at the bellagio. i am so excited. all in all I just want to have a great time and enjoy my new husband (even though we have been together for 8 years hahah) oh and i am pretty sure that i wil be using makeup in the 702. they seem to be the only credible place! ohhhhh and Freeds bakery will be making my cake which will be tiny 2 tier vegas themed cake! |

i have to get extensions but i really want my hair just liek this. flowwy and romantic looking!
and i had no idea that extensions cost so much!!!! alot alot! i mean i was quoted a few hundred dollars, and the hair is washed and styled just like normal hair, also for any vegas brides!!!!!!!! what salons are you going with on your wedding day? i have seen all the salons inside hotels but I think i wanted to have someone come to my hotel room and do the makeup and hair for me, any suggestions? |

my maid of honor and my bridesmaid dropped out of the wedding
their dad past away a little over a week ago and the financial stresses of a vegas wedding (we are from houston so flights hotels and other expenses) are just too much. and i totlly understand but of course i want my best friends there. they mean so much to me. i jsut feel so bad for them! and if i could afford to pay their way i would but we cant and i hate that i cant! aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
