The Proposal

Perfect for us!

Randy and I had decided to take a trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls again this year, and bring his boys along with us! We were headed up Friday morning and had a good, 7 hour trip!

Friday night we went to the baseball game in Toronto where we saw our favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, beat the Toronto Blue Jays (the only game of the weekend the Sox won). It was a great night at the ball field where we saw a couple get engaged and had your typical ballpark food with his boys!

Saturday morning we got up at a decent hour so we could get ready and head down to Niagara Falls. This was my third time going, Randy's second time, and the first time for his boys! We got there kind of late in the morning, but we walked around a little bit and then went to one show they did that was about the making of the falls. Something I had never done, but was pretty cool! They had water splashing on people, mist coming down - it was like the Shrek experience at Universal Studios!
After that, we continued to walk along the falls and were looking for something for lunch! I had asked if we could go to the Hard Rock Cafe again, as we went there last year and I really liked it! Randy's youngest boy wanted pizza (as every 10 year old does) and I told Randy we could do that if it made him happy! Randy said no - we were going to the Hard Rock Cafe because that's what I wanted.
Once we got there, we ordered our meal and Randy got up to "go to the bathroom." Shorty after he returned, a random waitress comes up to us and asks if she can take our picture. I say sure, though I thought it was really random. So, she went to the other side of our table and as she did that our waitress came around to the other side. She brought out our nacho's and a stack of plates that had a box on it. I was completely shocked! I asked "what is this?" and she responded with, "someone left this for you." As I turned to Randy he was grinning from ear to ear. I opened the box and there was my ring! Again, I turned to him and he then said those magical words "will you marry me?" I responded with "...Obviously..." and started to cry instantly!! (Yes, that's really what I said!!)

It was such a surprise for me, and I wouldn't have it any other way! He's the love of my life and I couldn't be happier!
