This is what I have so far...

My older sister as the Matron of Honor.
My younger sister as a bridesmaid.
My niece as a Jr. Bridesmaid.

Not sure yet about a flower girl.

Here are some ideas for my older sister's dress. It will look positively beautiful on her.

When Jenna Bush got married I also fell in love.... with her dress!

It reminds me of the dress Reese Witherspoon wore to the Oscars the night she won.

I have several here that I'm considering.

Again, haven't decided on the venue of our wedding yet, but I've gotten the dress and hair figured out. A girls gotta get first things first!

So, I haven't picked a dress (even though I know what I want) and I haven't even picked a venue, but I definitely have my hair style!!!

Let me know what you think. I have longish dark brown hair. I definitely like the styles that are down but am not opposed to having an un-pageant looking up do.

The most difficult part of this whole thing is determining where we'll get married. We have the date, that's all set (for now unless where I pick isn't available on that particular weekend, fingers crossed).
So I've tossed around a few ideas in my head. Destination wedding to St. Thomas, my sister's backyard in Arkansas where Tony & I met or here in Guymon.

There's a place in Colorado that does everything for you. That might be an option.

Since this last post, I've found a nice bed and breakfast locally here in Guymon called The Willows. Looks very nice, might be checking it out here in the next few weeks to see if it looks as nice in person.

So, we discussed getting married next April or May (2009), and I really like the idea of having a longer engagement rather than trying to rush around in six months and have a wedding I'm not happy with because I can't get the facility I want or the dress I want, etc.
(good theory, right??)

May 23rd it is then! Memorial day weekend.

Wow, he completely took me by surprise. He asked me on Wednesday May 7, 2008 in the evening after work. I was very distracted with a huge meeting at work and came home to lay down and relax. As I was laying on the bed, he told me to close my eyes as he was leaning against the side of the bed looking at me. I closed my eyes and when I opened them back, there was the ring, in it's box and he asked me to marry him.
I was so completely shocked! I had no idea he would ask me and on a Wednesday night and that's why it was so wonderful. It surprised me, and it's tough to surprise me, but he seems to be able to do it a lot!
