Champagne Suit

I saw this picture a few months back and decided that this was the suit we needed to go with. It's been hard finding one that looks this nice in the champagne/tan color so we're still looking, but we'll definitely be going with something in this area. It looks so pretty up against the white dress!

I really like the style of this simple yet classy dress. I didn't want something that was too poofy or that looked like an actual bridesmaid's dress, and I think I found exactly what I was looking for. I chose to go with a mocha color for the bridesmaids. The maid of honor will either wear the same color or go with espresso to stand out a bit, and this way we can have the best man a little different from the groomsmen as well. I included a picture of the dress in seafoam just in case we end up going with black tuxes for the guys. This way the dress and tux won't clash.

I love this cake. The candles around it, the flowers going up, and the detail on the side are just perfect. I will probably have it be more of an off white with brown flowers going up. The tablecloth will be seafoam green to bring in some added color and then champagne colored candles.

These candles are so pretty and I love the real seashell detail on the sides. Plus they are reusable since it's just a candle holder! I found these ones at weddingthings.com.

I also like the Plumeria candles in the second picture. They are so pretty, but are a bit more expensive. These are from joyfulbrideonline.com.

I really like these name card holders since they are shells and will fit in perfectly with the beach theme. They are so cute and everyone will be able to take their's home as a souvenir. I think we are going to have assigned seating to keep everything more organized and these will be very helpful.

I want centerpieces exactly like the ones in this picture. We will be going with a beach theme, but keeping it classy rather than exotic and fun. I love the beach wood element to these and the sand and seashells give it that special look that I've been looking for.

For the flowers, I am definately going to incorporate Stephanotis' since those are my favorite. They look so beautiful when they have rhinestones in the middle. I want my boquet to include some roses as well. We will probably go with a couple of different color roses to give it some contrast, but I absolutely love this picture with the cream roses.

For the bridesmaids, we will either go with a smaller replica of my boquet or just do a rose boquet without the Stephanotis. Since my mother owns a flower shop, we will be able to use a lot of flowers and choose from a great variety!

We've finally booked the place for our ceremony and reception. We chose the Bali Hai Golf Course just off the Las Vegas Strip. The ceremony will take place on the patio overlooking the waterfall and golf course while the reception will be inside Cili Restaurant at Bali Hai.

Hair Style

I got this really pretty headband that compliments my dress beautifully so I want to wear my hair down. I want it to be wavy, but not too wavy so that it looks classic. I loved Eva Longoria's hair in her wedding to Tony Parker!

For the bridesmaids I want to go with a pretty updo that has curls like my hair so we look similar. We will go with something like the other pictures of Eva.

My mother and two of my sisters came with me to start trying on dresses. We knew we had a while so we didn't need to pick one out that day, but we figured we'd start looking. One of my sisters came into the room with me to help zip up the dresses. When I tried the fourth one on and my sister zipped it up, I turned around and she said "OMG" and just started balling. As we walked out of the fitting room and my mom and other sister saw the dress, they began to cry as well. Needless to say, I knew I had found my dress!
