Can't decide what color...please vote!
I bought some bright pink shoes last summer for the wedding. But I've been still looking...I found these shoes on zappos...i ordered them in blue today but now i'm thinking i might like the pink ones better so I thought i'd get some opinions!

Are you wearing a blusher veil?
I was just wondering how many of us are going to wear a blusher in addition to your veil. I can't even picture myself without one on my wedding day. I've been trying to figure out hairstyles that would work where I could have both veils pinned on the top of my hair (updo) and then remove the blusher and move the longer veil to under the updo.

Leaves or snow?
We wanted to do our engagement photos in the summer....well....that didn't happen for this and that reason. So, we have come to the realization that its now or never for this! We live in south east Michigan and most of the leaves are already off of the trees now. We are trying to decide if we want to catch the last bit of "warmer" weather and do some pictures, or wait for the prettier (colder!) snow to come. I emailed our photographer on what she thought and this is what her input was:
The pros of doing them now is that its a little warmer which tends to make you feel & look more relaxed for your session. The downside is that the landscape is rather barren and monochromatic. (And I love that look, but I know a lot of people dont). The pros of doing them in the snow is that snow an awesome prop. You can have a lot of fun things to do during your session. The cons are that you will probably be cold and therefore possibly have a shorter session. Unless we could find a place to do some pictures indoors as well. Maybe you guys getting warm and cozy with some hot chocolate or something? So, what do you girls think?? I need some opinions because we are awful at making decisions! Thanks! |

When should I have my first fitting?
Just wondering when I need to go to my first fitting for my dress? The wedding is at the end of May. Should I go soon or can I wait until early next year? I think all that needs done is hemming and a bustle. Thanks!

I love these!
These are the fuchsia shoes I bought from Unforgettable Moments. I didn't want a really high heel in case I want to change into flip flops for the reception, so I thought these would be perfect! They are really comfy too...BIG plus!

Wedding Flowers
Way too many choices!
I'm trying to decide what I want for the flowers. I keep changing my mind and I can't seem to think of something that I truly love. I have been searching online and in magazines for anything that seems to fit. I know that we want to do pink/fuchsia flowers since we are doing navy bridesmaids dresses. My first idea was for my bouquet to just be all pink roses. Simple. Then I thought about maybe I want stephanotis in there too. But then I found some rose and alstroemeria combinations and really liked those. Now I just found peony bouquets too! I'm on major flower overload. Anyone have suggestions? What is your pink bouquet consisting of?

My girls and I have narrowed it down to these two dresses from David's Bridal. The first one we're considering doing a watermelon sash instead of the blue one. I really like both of them...so I'm going to have the girls decide from there.

Wedding Cake
No cake picked yet, but I love this topper
So I think I'm going to try to have pearls tied into our "theme" since there are pearls all over my gown. I was browsing on etsy and found this E cake topper with pearls from myfrivolities. I was previously thinking about getting one that had crystals on it, but now I'm considering this one. Bonus: its only $15. Hmm.....
