Just saw these online and i am totally in looove with the idea At first I was debating on making vs. buying... needless to say i just got back from yard saleing and i will be making my own. Kind of nervous and excited to start all aat the same time. The cheapest i found on Etsy/Ruffled was $750... however if I provided the brooches it would have been a bit of a cheaper price but still holy man i need to start crafting as a career apparently. |

Alright, so it seems as if im working backwards here but i've finding everythign but my dress lately!
Have you ever heard of Etsy? Giiiirl! its amazing! Ive ordered a ton of things form there so far, the purple peony shop is amazing, tiers of joy... love the girl!Check them out on FB. I'm really loving this cake with the cake stand. I have an 18" ordered, after finding this photo... may have to buy the vase thingys now. So like whats your take on fondant? I'm not really a huge lover of it, but it looks amazing in photos haha. Its going to be extreamly hard for me to find a baker around the island to make something so modern. Looks like i may have to buttercream it up! |

So for the majority of this thing, Im going to try and keep it traditional, one of the main reasons, is that my wedding location is so scluded,( its on an island, there are no paved roads, no debit machines, no gas stations... so its going to be extreamly hard to just find the basics, not to mention anythign out of the ordaniary.
So I've been googling my booty off and came to the conclusion that I need peonies? I think they are very versatile, they can be fun and classy all at the same time.! woopwoo. So after changing my colours multiple times in the past 2 months, Ive decided im sticking with Plum & Red & Gold.. or maybe Cream.. or maybe champange.. or maybe green? hahaha you get the idea |

He Put A Ring On It
.. oh yeah that line is going to be SO over used at this wedding.
5 1/2yrs comming, and we're finally engaged. Defintaly the most romantic yet d-baggy time he has ever been. The day before he was so nervous and such a a-hole it was unreal. He proposed 12:15AM Feb 14th. On one knee, putting a ring on my finger holding my hand... my first thought.." i know he dont think hes gonna get anything this early in the morning, i gotta be up in 4 hours for work!". ...my first words.. " what the fu*k are you doing?!".. such a way with words. He turned the light on and said his speel again, as I tried to jam a size 6 ring on my size 8 finger all I could think of was omg this story is going to be told at our wedding. Not gonna lie, the ring wasnt what I dreamed it would be. He told me I could choose another if I wanted... so I went looking, the chick at the jewllers ran over to me and was like I love your ring, I sold it to your man yesterday! He was here for 2hours.. needless to say I kept it. And I wouldn't want anythign else now, it has defintaly grown on me, and I am so lucky to have a man willing to spend the time to pick somethign out that isnt your typical one massive stone cookie cutter ring. Now the fun begings...planning a wedding half way across the country. |

Planning a wedding across the country.. there is one Catholic church in the community ( im pentecostal, this one should be fun) There is a 45min ferry ride fromt he mainland to this island. There are no paved roads, and no hotels. We have roughly 200 guests that are commited to comming. Should get fun.
Trying to keep the wedding fun,and really involve our families.
