I'M IN NEED OF ADVICE PLEASE!!!!

Ok Ladies,

I don't know what to do. All of my bridesmaid dresses have came back except for one. So I called Davids Bridal myself to see when hers was coming in since, the rest of the girls dresses came in. They didn't have her name in the system at all. I was like are you sure because she told me she ordered her dress. I checked underneath her maiden name and her married name and they didn't have it. So I text her and ask when is your dress suppose to coming in, and they she said she will have to call me later because she have to ask her husband because he paid for the dress and I was like alright. Then she said her husband said the dress won't be in until June 8th because she ordered her dress late, but if she or her husband ordered the dress , her name should be in the system right? So ladies what should I do, wait until the 8th and see if her dress come in or should I have someone take her place, because to me what she saying isn't making sense. So what should I do.

June 8th? Wait...... maybe go in WITH her to DB and get her to look it up with you.
Then IF they do not have it, get her to re-order it. Ask her to bring somesort of payment receipt (form either the store, credit card statement or bank statement) then then you will know if it was her that didn't order the dress of if it's DB screw up!

call back and see if her husband's name is in the system.
If not, ask her to provide proof of payment, credit card statement, receipt, etc, and to go with you to the store to show it to david's bridal and make sure she really does have a dress coming!

I would just approach it and tell her you what they said.  Then just talk to her and tell her it was their mix up and you and her can go into DB and get it all straightened out.  That way your not accusing her of not ordering the dress, your putting the blame on the bridal shop.  Hope it all works out for you!

I agree with Kristah, if her husband ordered it, maybe it is in his name? Also, I would have her come with you to the store. Let her know that you were checking to see when it was coming in and they couldn't find her in the system.

ask her to give you some proof... and like the other ladies said go with her to DB if she gets too defensive then maybe she didnt order it...

UPDATE: I haven't heard from her to see if her dress has came in. I called no answer and I text no response. I was going to give her a couple more days but after that, I going to be through with that situation and I tell her don't even worry about being in the wedding. To be  honest I don't believe she ordered that dress, but I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. I  will keep ya'll posted on the outcome of this situation.

**UPDATE**

I text her again because I haven't heard from her and the 8th had came and went, she finally text me and said that she did get her dress. So at this point I just have to believe that she got her dress and I was like good so we can have an even amount for the bridal party. In a way I still don't believe her because she was like the dress is on sale now and she going to see if she can get a discount. This situation is just crazy, I'm not going to keep making sure she has her dress if she don't then we just going to work with what we have.
