I have not been to a wedding like this and I have not seen any so I am very excited to doing something a little out of the norm (if someone has done it before I don't even want to know, I would rather try and interpret this in my way!). I want it to be unique, romantic, vintage & modern (a TALL order, I know). The more we time we have spent planning the more we are leaning toward a Marie Antoinette-style wedding. The style of the movie directed by Sofia Coppola. A romantic theme with a punk twist by adding the hot pink.
Here are some pictures to get an idea?Cross your fingers for me... I am going to "Make it work" as Tim Gunn would say ;).

We will use a mix of pale pink, gold, white, champagne, light blue, silver & hot pink.

I love this, I was originally thinking of incorporating something like this. I didn't find a reception hall that fit this overall feel, so I switched my theme to Breakfast at Tiffany's. I have now found a place that suits this style perfectly. Since I already purchased Audrey Hepburn stamps for my invites, I'm using the colors and style of Marie Antoinette with a Breakfast at Tiffany's take. I think I melt the two styles together perfectly. I love your blog, keep posting, I would love to see what you come up with next!
