♥Fiance Participation
SO my fiance has about no imput on the wedding plans, not because I don't let him in on things but because hes not really into it. He thinks that whatever I choose is going to be just fine and he "trusts" me (whatever that means). Seriously I do not think he would mind at all if painted the whole thing pink (which I am not). We do have one thing I am INSISTING we decide together and thats the music especially our first dance. I made a mix CD of all of "our" songs and I am having him listen to it on his way to and from work until he can offer some help lol.

How much are your fiances helping out in the the planning process?
Do they give you complete control??

Well, I finally dragged FH out today to meet with the photographers, he really kind of just sat back while I did all the talking. He did however give his input about which albulm we should get. So I told him that since he spoke up, then we will get that album! LOL! He didn't get the night off though, so he couldn't go to meet with the catering manager from Wente Winery to book the venue. So, we didn't book cuz I want him to have input on where we get married. He says "oh, whatever you wantis fine." UH! Oh well, I guess it will be me, my mom, and his aunt planning this thing!

A lot of fiances are  like that. Mine is somewhere in the middle of the road. While he is not searching for things himself to incorporate into the plans he does give imput on whether he likes something or not. Now with that said he probably could care less about the centerpieces or the cardstock we use for invitations or the type of flowers... there is just some things that men don't care about. He's into the food and cake, music, his tux, the guest list and such.

I've learned to pick my battles. He's been great with everything I've asked him about. He's voiced several things he didn't like but like many man says "that's cool" "that's nice" for most things like ribbon color LOL.

Marta you made me really think and I do remember him caring about the booze (we have to have an open bar!!!) lol... he threw out a few comments about food as well ...ahhhhh

I have complete control. Jeff wont really help out about anything, the only think that he was just a little concerned about was the music, and even that i ended up deciding on......

My fiance doesn't really care about much regarding the wedding, either.  I run big stuff by him, and when he does give his input, I take it!  He'd rather march down to city hall tomorrow and get married that way.  I don't mind at all, if he was picky, it would make things more difficult.  So, my mom and I are doing the major planning, while I run big decisions by him and get a "mmhmm that sounds good" response!

I have complete control. Every time I ask Scotty, he says he wants me to have the wedding of my dreams, because, as he sees it, girls dream of their weddings since they can say W and he hasn't put all that much thought into it ever. His mantra right now "I don't care where we get married, what we're wearing or who is there, because the end result will still be the same--you'll be my wife". And that's that!

OMG I love that I'm not the only one. LOL! Lee has pretty much left everything to me, but will give me some opinions on the bigger things like the dinner and the cake. (the only reason he cares about the cake is because he has his mind set on bavarian cream) When it came to our wedding songs though, I made him get involved. I picked about 12 or 13 and made him go through them with me for weeks, using the process of elimination. It took a long time, but it worked. : ) And I love being able to say that he picked our wedding song.

I always show my honey a couple of pics of ideas I have- and I say what do ya like best/worst. Its a simple way of having tastes of both of you incorporated

My fiance is the same. He really doesn't care as long as I'm happy and I don't break the bank. He would prefer to get married at the court house but he knew I would never go for that. I give him really small jobs and that's it. Mostly it's dealing with his family, getting addresses for me, or picking out his tux. And I think he really wants to go to the cake tasting, just because he loves cake! lol!

My fiance varies, the majority of the time he say to do what I want. But he actually picked the black and white theme. I was scared when it came to picking venues cause when we went to pick out a bed, seriously we looked at at least 100 aand only agreed on 1. He came with me to see venues and there was only 1 really liked that he wasn't to crazy about. We did settle on two we both like, now if we can on pick!
He hasn't spoken up on anything, I try to run everything by him, sometimes he cares, sometimes he shrugs his sholders. I think I have the reins here on out.

FH and I have a great system that is REALLY working so far.  He does trust me implicitly, but he always does want to have some kind of say in the matter since it's his day too...
What he came up with is this:  I do the research, and narrow any and all choices to down my favourite 3, and then I run them past him.
We make the final call together, and so far I have found this method to be awesome!
