Chocolate Aisle Runner Rose Petals vs. Runner

Aisle Runner
Rose Petals vs. Runner

My ceremony is going to be outside so instead of a an runner I'm thinking of using flower petals. I think it will also be cheaper too.

I don't think petals will be cheaper. They will be more beautiful though and also depends how many petals you're going to use...something like this will cost a fortune...I wish I could afford it,,,,it's so pretty.

This is beautiful - and actually much less dangerous - but definitely not cheaper!

That is VERY gorgeous!!!! I'm also not sure that it would be cheaper, but you would get wonderful pictures :) I would be afraid that my gown would sweep them all up behind me because of my train hehe.

Thanks, I didn't think it would be exspensive.. but would need a lot of flowers. And of course it needs to be wider. I wounder if I can use silk petals to cut cost and get to same look? I don't want it to look cheap

I doubt it would be cheaper.... and if you're using real petals, watch out for the fact that they may stain your dress. but, it is a very, very gorgeous idea.

I think this is a flower petal runner. They are made to look like thousands of flowers, but are actually attached to a runner. Beautiful idea though!

We used silk petals on either side of the church aisle we walked down. It would definitely not be cheaper if you used as many real petals as in the photo though! We used a light scattering and it didn't look cheap, we got a lot of compliments on it. Like futuredrbraun said, keep in mind the length of your dress. If these petals aren't attached and your dress is long, you'll have quite a collection when your done walking!

Rose petals....what a gorgeous idea! I wonder if we are allowed rose petals at the park where I am having my ceremony.
