Ask a Question
Any other brides graduating?
Just wondering if there are any other brides about to enter the real world. Any advice on how to make the transition while planning a wedding? I graduate exactly one year from our wedding date and with family flying in for the ceremony, finals, planning, the job hunt, three major interviews coming up and still not knowing if or when we're moving to DC.....let's just say I'm more than a little stressed out!! How do you balance everything?

Hey, I will be getting married less than 6 months after finishing school and a month of intense exams (liscensing, national board exams etc) and only 3 months after moving...so I am trying to capitalize on the summer and getting as much done as I can (big stuff anyways) and hoping that my MOH will be avaliable to help as she is done and i can count on her to be there when i cant! I have a feeling i will have to be super organized this year!!

Me too! I'm graduating August 2nd from UCF and getting married Nov 8th.  I planned it so I would graduat before I got married when we picked a date.  I wanted to get school out of the way before I start this next exciting part!  I cannot wait. But it def is stressful...planning a wedding and working super hard at school.

I understand completely!! I am trying to get as much planning done before I leave for San Diego and have to rely strongly on my MOH and my mom to be my go-to gals in RI. I am really stressing now trying to study for my NCLEX-RN exam (can't be a nurse without passing it, which I am taking next month!), doing all of this planning ahead of time and packing up my life to move across the country! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH :-)

I'm with you girls as well!  My wedding is set one month after I graduate!  My advice for you is to have a great MOH that you can depend on and your cordinator must be a take-charge type of person!  The less stress the better
