Oh goodness, the stress of the bridesmaids begin!! I have my sister standing for me as my Maid of Honour and four bridesmaids. My sister-in-law, my two best friends and my cousin. The issue arises with my cousin.
She was always a planner. She wanted everything at the age of 20 - husband, children, house, car... etc. So, between the two of us, I have the soon-to-be husband, house & car... she is 8.5 months pregnant. When she announced she was pregnant, I was so excited for her. Then, I announced I was engaged and now she will no longer talk to me. Things have been completely different!!
I asked her to stand for me and she accepted but she's not acting like she wants to at all. She won't communicate when we all send emails back and forth. All the girls met with my mom and my future mother-in-law, she wouldn't come - said she was too busy with other things.
I emailed yesterday stating I have to order the BM dresses by the end of October. She said she won't be able to measure or purchase (mind you I picked a dress in which wouldn't matter... she is very small and hasn't gained any weight, only in the belly). I feel like she is just making excuses and that she just doesn't want to stand for me.
I emailed her and said that we should probably meet for coffee. Said that I felt she was really stressed about everything and that if she didn't want to stand, she doesn't have to.
We're meeting tomorrow after I get off from work... I will keep you posted!!!!
