I found this site that claims to make the dress from start to finish with your measurements within a month and the prices are insane!!!!!!! Has anyone used this before?

Wedding Hair Style
Short hair anyone....
So I've done the long hair for years and found it to be heavy and unmanageble. Once I cut it a few years ago it has stayed short. Now I'm left with the delima of finding something to do with it for the wedding.
I also don't know if I want to wear a veil or any thing at all in my hair. So far the first picture is my favorite. Not sure if pin-up makeup would look good with this though. Any thoughts??? |

Ceremony
Traditional or not traditional that is the question...
So we aren't the most traditional people and aren't getting married in a church venue. My FH thinks that the unity ceremony is a little tacky and I tend to agree with him on that. However, is it something that can be replaced with something else if it's needed. We looked at both candles and sand but feel as though it's slightly redundant. Isn't the actual act of getting married and saying your vows a symbol of your unity?
Any advice of thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Sorry ladies, I've been awol lately. It seems as though my weeks go by both slowly and too quickly. Does that make sense?
Anyhow....I'm glad to see so many of you well on your way to the finish line. I've joined Weight Watchers and hope that by the time I have to order a dress, I will look fabulous in it!!! However, I'm having a really hard time finding dresses that are mainly black with some white but that are still really princess and glamorous. I found a website www.bonny.com and they have a large selection of pageant dresses and other formal events. I will post up some pics soon about some that I'm thinking about. I hear my homework calling me, so off I go!! Take care all! |

Day out!
Hi ladies!
The FH and I went out to the Ottawa wedding show and had so much fun. We got some great ideas and laughed at some really bad ones.... I feel better knowing that there are some options out there as far as venues are concerned. I accumulated many brochures with great websites to look into and think about. I'm so glad that we are taking our time planning this. It feels as though everything we pick will be because we love it, not because we feel rushed!! I hope all your planning is coming to fruition! I have been so inspired by these message boards that I thought I would start my own. This will be my second marriage and my fiancee's first. I'm really looking forward to planning our wedding together. We are going to take our time with the engagement so that we can enjoy it. Once your married, you're in a whole different catagory.
