I'm in love with a ring...is that wrong?!

I look at my ring every day and can't believe it's mine...partly because I waited 8 1/2 long years but partly because it was EXACTLY what I wanted but never expected to get! I've been looking and dreaming about rings for a long time and one day I decided to start a folder for myself on the computer of pictures of rings that I liked so I wouldn't forget them when the time came. I always thought that we would go shopping together but instead he took the picture of the ring I had titled LOVE LOVE LOVE #1 and had it made! Puts a smile on my face every time I look at it!

You should be in love with it! It should be something you're proud to wear and show and brag about. Of course the symbolism is important, but because rings are also an aesthetic thing, you should love to wear it.

It's great to hear that it makes you smile when you look at it. It's the sign of a very happy relationship. c:

I agree with Nocturnius, I think you should love your ring. I stare at mine all the time too! I absolutely adore my ring. I never take it off. I'm so glad you got the ring of your dreams!

That ring is BEAUTIFUL!! Congratulations! There is nothing wrong with loving your ring!! (I love mine too! ) It's way better to love your ring then to just like it or think it's ok. And that's awesome how he found and got you your "dream ring"!!    : )
