So my theme is Peacock Bling and my wedding location has this huge chandelier and piano. Here is what I have so far.

I chose these invites. They are very nice.

I want a brooch bouquet but haven't decided on that but I like the one in this picture.

I like candlebras so I want to incorporate them into my centerpieces and add peacock inspired arrangements.

Thats my dress and the bridesmaid dress. They are wearing this evening gown and the colors are so vibrant and it looks very high fashion. Nothing but the best for my girls.

I am debating on black table linens with colored arrangements or colored linen and simple floral arrangements.

We will use a peacock thumbprint guest book

I am undecided about how i want to wear my hair. I love down but I am thinking of up for ceremony and down for reception.
I am considering changing into a sexier dress for reception and have my makeup changed to reflect my peacock theme a bit more. Maybe change the eyeshadow or lipstick color.
What do you ladies think?

So I need to vent as all of us Brides must do once or twice throughout this process.

Why is it people think that just because they contribute their time or money into your wedding they should get a final say???

Now I try to be reasonable and entertain others options and opinions but at the end of the day I don't have to like or select your choice. IT'S OUR WEDDING, NOT YOURS!!

Long story short.. we are paying for our wedding of $30,000+ ourselves. A few people have offered $100 here and there and but I have been reluctant to accept handouts because of this very reason. And a some of those people have already flaked on us anyway.

My mom wants me to get quartet and I want harpist. She picked my music and got upset that I wanted to chose my music because she paying for it ($700). Then his mom wants to use an old dress instead of getting the one we all selected together for $150. Then his mom wants to pick rehersal dinner place in our state basied strictly on price.

I wish everyone would just be supportive and put the damn dress on, eat the food, and stop ruining our planning process.
The ironic part is me and fiance have not argued at all about wedding. We just argue with everyone else. AHHHHHHH!!!! :( 268 days left, Thank God)

So this is my new dress after ditching my first one. This one has wayyy more Bling and bigger skirt. It makes me feel like royalty. Princess Gigi :)
