Wedding Reception
Layout!
I made these layouts today of what the tent/room is going to look like the day of...
We're getting married in the tent right beside the ocean and then while we're getting photos, the tent is being transformed into the reception where we'll eat and do speeches. Then we're up to the Resort's Lodge to dance and cut the cake! The "diagrams" were fun to do actually, and I think they'll help with the vendors. It also helped me to decide what decor I actually need so I am not wasting money!! |

Ceremony
What it's going to look like
This is a photo of the tent that we ordered at another wedding at the same location. I am have the exact same things done except I will be adding two pillars with flowers on them at the altar. sort of like the second picture but a bit smaller and purple :)
I am so excited. It is going to be soooo beautiful. The ocean is the backdrop....hard to tell in this photo but the ocean is right there!! |

Bouquet Photos
Remembering those who've passed
Well, my FH and I have both unfortunately lost our Grandfather's recently and I really wanted us to have them with us on our special day. I've actually lost both of mine so this will just be for both of mine but Brett will hold a photo of his Gramps in his coat pocket.
I found these on incasagifts.com and I wanted them right away. I can't wait until it comes in :) I probably won't have them hanging down so far (it can't look funny) but I'll have them both with me all day :) |

Ask a Question
Shoe Issues AGAIN!
I've always thought that it looks nicer when you step out to walk down the aisle that you see a little tip of a SHOE rather than TOES.
What's your opinion(s)?? I am having the hardest time deciding because I often like the open toe shoes better but I still think it looks nicer stepping out to walk down the aisle and not seeing toes sticking out.... Tell me what you think ladies!!! Much appreciated. |

Ask a Question
Calling all Brides! I need shoe-help!
Ok, my Mom has her shoes, my Bridesmaids have theirs....
I am stuck. I don't like any that I've seen so far. I wanted "closed toe" with a bit of a heel (I like the look of walking and seeing a closed toe shoe come out of your dress rather than toes, but now I am not sure!) I am having the hardest time! Does anyone know of any good, trustworthy sites to order from? Good brands? Good stores in my City?? I am open to US sites, but I'd love to know about Canadian ones too since a lot of places don't ship here...and/or they cost a million $$$$ to get them here!!! Fill me in ladies! :) Thanks sooo much! |

Clam Shell Gems- Pier 1
I found 8 packs of these at Pier 1 on their clearance wall. Normally they are $8.00/each pack (comes with 50-100) but I got them for $4.00! They will look nice either scattered on tables or in the bottom of the centerpiece vases...haven't decided where yet, but I LOVE them!

Flower Girl Basket
Cuuuute lil' basket for a cuuute lil' Girl!
I went to Michaels today and bought their plain little flower girl basket for $9.99...picked up starfish and a sand dollar and glued them on for a "seaside" feel. They were from Michaels too but you can also get them at www.usshell.com
I think it turned out cute! |

Table "numbers" DIY
I was in Michaels last night and came across these little beachy-shapes for .39 cents and paint for $4.00. I already had some white and clear beads along with some seashells I bought a while ago. You can get these same shells from any dollar store.
Such a fun little project...and "different"...they will look nice on the white table cloths and add the touch of west-coast-purple I was looking for! feedback welcome :) |
