Bridesmaids Dresses (YAY! They Like The Dress!)

One of the things that I was worried about when choosing the right dress for my bridesmaids was if they would like the dress. The other thing that I was worried about was finding the right dress to compliment mine.

Fortunately, Alfred Angelo is very good at what they do! I was able to find the right dress with the perfect design for my bridesmaids. The dress looks like it was made to be the companion to my dress (shown in a previous blog). And guess what? My bridesmaids really like the dress!

We are all going for a fitting together sometime in September. I'm going to visit the Alfred Angelo store with one of my bridesmaids this Saturday and Discount Bridal as well. Between the two we will decide which one to drag all of the bridesmaids to in September. While most of them probably won't be purchasing a dress that day, like I won't (still losing weight and it's not even close to the deadline I gave myself) it will be a good time for us to bond and see what each other will look like in the colors and the dresses chosen.

Hopefully this will be fun and not stressful for any of us. At least the dresses are nice and they like them.

We'll see what comes next!

Super cute!! Just make sure you do give your girls a deadline and be on top of it because the original dresses I picked for my girls - 1 of the girls did not get her order in on time and the company that made the dress would not take the order so I had 1 day to find a new dress by a different company and of course colors were different so I had to go off what I saw on the computer and was a nervous wreck!! Thankfully the store we were going through was super nice and said any dress I picked they would let my girls still pay the $145 of the original dress even though it wasn't their fault. But man I was not happy with my girl. Thankfully in the end they like the dresses still and even though I wasn't too thrilled with the suede color ones at 1st, once one of my girls tried it on and we pulled it to see what it would look like more fitted it looked much better then just hanging in the bag.

Thanks! I didn't want to go with anything too complicated and gaudy, but simple and almost like mine.

Also, thanks for the encouragement. That sounds like an awful experience that you and your ladies had to go through because of one person. I'm glad it worked out for you in the end, but it was too bad it wasn't what you really wanted. Today one of my bridesmaids did a fitting and I think we're going to get all of the girls together to do a fitting very soon since they warned her that to get the dress in it would take 14 weeks plus there's still the hemming to do after that...
