My Fiancée The Comedian

Today is my lazy Sunday.

Right now my lazy Sunday consists of a cup of coffee, coffee cake-muffin, Boy Meets World re-runs and my fuzzy Sonic The Hedgehog slippers that my wonderful fiancee bought me for Christmas last year.

I love these slippers. I love everything he gives to me, especially his heart and beautiful spirit.

His name is Darkim, but he goes by Dee. When people first meet us we introduce ourselves as Fee and Dee. We did not do that on purpose. The first time we met each other and I told him I am called "Fee" he told me he is called "Dee" I thought he was joking. But no, this guy was serious. I still laughed, because it's funny.

When most people first meet Dee, the first thing they observe about him is he has a wonderful sense of humor. He likes to laugh, and he really likes to make others laugh. Most people would label him as a "hilarious guy".

I find myself laughing all the time with my fiancee. Either I'm laughing with him, or at him. He is a very funny guy, even though he will argue that he is NOT funny. Why doesn't he think he is funny? When so many people think that he is? Because it is all apart of his style.

Dee is a stand up comedian, who does not laugh at his own jokes. His sarcastic and honest sense of humor is what makes so many people drawn to his comedy. He uses everyday situations, family life, personalities, and current events in his routines. So while he appears to just be "telling it like it is", as he would put it, we are laughing helplessly at his versatile humor. Dee offers a gleeful romp of ingeniously structured stylish comedy.

I'm proud of him for his hard work and continuing to reach his goals in life. I support him 100% as he supports me as I try to reach my goals. No one feels lesser than the other. We are both equally loving and loved. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 is our motto.

Dee had his first stand up show in Atlanta a few nights ago and I wanted to share his successful night with all of you.
