My Bridal Bouquet and Shoes!

Hi Lovelies,

I can't believe I'm only 5 days away from my wedding! This past weekend my bridesmaids and I had a fun all girls party. We had a bouquet and shoes crafting party.

Each of us brought a pair of plain white or ivory shoes to design on and do arts and crafts for the wedding. We wanted to show our own individuality in the how we design our shoes. The idea is since our dresses are so long, our feet would be covered, but when we lift the dresses up to show off our shoes the guests will get a glimpse of our silliness and the fun we all have together. I told the girls to just go crazy. We had glitter, ribbons, buttons, pearls, lace, etc. To put together our bouquets and design our shoes.

I have a wedding dress as well as a reception dress so I had to design two pairs of shoes. I purchased white shoes for the wedding for $10 and the red shoes from the same place online for $10. I used ivory lace and sewed it folding down along the edges of the shoes and the red shoes I sewed the red and white lace going up like the Vera Wang shoes, with the leather thin bow on top of the toe.

For our bouquets I purchased a ton of silk roses and baby's breath, and carnations for $1 per bulk from DollarTree.com. They have a great selection of good quality silk flowers for great prices in bulk. We had more than enough to complete our projects. The pictures show my shoes and my bouquet.

The girls had a ton of fun and I know I sure did. We ate, drank, created our bouquets, designed our shoes, laughed, and just celebrated together. These are my real and true friends. I appreciate these ladies so much.

I'm looking forward to our slumber party this Friday, the night before my big day! So excited!
