Well, everything about the wedding is getting changed. We are going to have a smaller wedding now, and invite only those really important to us. Its still going to be extremely lavish and gorgeous. We are going with a Romantic Glam theme. We are getting a new wedding date (although what date has yet to be determined). And we are getting a new venue!!! It should be fun, I'll let you know when plans get underway!!! YAY.

P.S. I got to look at new rings today, and Oh My Gosh there were a few that were gorgeous and that I fell in love with so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

My FH has only had one drink his entire life, he doesn't like alcohol and doesn't drink. He has a few friends and family members that drink but not a lot. I use to drink all the time and a lot of my friends and some family like to drink, although I have now stopped. Should we have alcohol at the wedding even if we don't drink or should we keep it dry? (We will be having champagne for the toasts we just don't know if we should have a bar).

With my FH being a cop we came up with the idea to do something new and completely unique. For our departure to take off for the honeymoon, we are going to get cuffed together and arrested take off in a cop car with the lights and sirens going and that will be how we exit. I don't know if we will actually do it but it would be pretty funny!!!

My last post said I couldn't decide between a couple different wedding themes. The one I currently have going is a Christmas theme, but I don't want my wedding to run in with the holiday I want it to be about me and my groom not about Christmas. I also really love the glam style weddings, and I love romantic style weddings. So there is now a battle between Christmas, or a Romantic Glam theme. Which will win?

I am a very indecisive person, sometimes. Well my wedding is one thing that I'm being very indecisive about!!! I have this gorgeous Christmas themed wedding planned out, but I don't know if I want a Christmas wedding. I have other gorgeous weddings planned out, but I don't know if thats what I want either. I know I want it to be BIG and Lavish and full of love and joy, we're both city people so a country themed wedding doesn't suit us at all. I can't make up my mind, I know I have 15 months but I'm one of those people that gets on top of things from the very beginning. My FH isn't being any help because he doesn't care what we do!!! Grrrrr

My and my FH have a long distance relationship and although its making our love grow stronger and making our time together that much better its miserable! We see each other on the weekends as much as possible and talk on the phone for hours everyday but this is definitely something that we don't want to continue doing. He has a job lined up as a cop in St Joe starting in December, I'm currently still a nursing student so its easier for me to move (plus I can't wait to leave Springfield). I applied to the university in St Joe, which has an amazing nursing program, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping I get accepted!!! I'll be moving in January and we're both super duper excited! It just feels like its forever away!! :(

I'm wanting to get a police car for my soon to be husband for his groom's cake. I'm hoping to get it to have working lights and sirens (his favorite part). He will be graduating from police academy in December so it'll be perfect!!!

My mom i s throwing a complete fit and continues to say that I'm not allowed to, but I thought it would be fun for all of my female wedding party to wear winter boots! I'm a huge UGG fan so I will definitely be wearing UGGS, we'll see about the rest of the girls!!! :)

My groom is amazing and basically letting me do whatever I want with the wedding, I'm asking his advice but he pretty much agrees on whatever I choose. I am making a complete surprise for him though!!! The mansion we are having the wedding at has a bunch of different sections; so we're having out ballroom with dinner and dancing in one area, our ceremony in another, a lounge away from everyone with a string quartet and furniture for those who don't want to dance or need a break or just want to cuddle up next to the fireplace, there's going to be a small kids section and we're going have Santa come visit, and an area for our cocktail hour. BUT his surprise is going to be a guy's room!!! Its going be completely decked out in Jayhawk stuff (his favorite team, his room is completely covered in Jayhawk stuff), have big comfy furniture, game snacks (like peanuts and hot dogs), and his groom's cake (which is going to be a police car with working lights and sirens)!!! I'm so excited and he has no idea! The entire mansion has TV broadcasting and cable, so in the guys room they can watch sports or cartoons or whatever they want on the TV. A place where a guy can feel like a guy with very few feminine touches. (Also in the lounge we will be broadcasting whats going on in the ballroom so the guests can still enjoy even if they need a break from everything). Its going to be awesome, I can't wait for my vision to come to life!!!

I know a lot of people do Winter Wonderland or Christmas theme's for weddings and I'm doing that too but not the extreme that everyone else! Christmas is going to be in the air, stockings will be hanging from the fireplace, there will be mistletoe, snow flakes, sleighs, and Christmas tree's but its not going to scream Christmas. Our colors are going to be burgundy red, violet purple, green, hot pink, black, gold, and white. The pictures to the right are my inspiration, I'm not going to copy this wedding exactly but I'm going to do a lot of the same things, its going to be gorgeous!!! I cannot wait!!!
