Wedding Invitation
Should I purchase new invitations

I bought my DIY invitations from Micheals and now I think I have changed my mind. I have only spent $150 on the invites but I want something fancier. At the same time I dont want to spend $500 on new invitations. Stuck ! What should I do.

Be me I'd stick with the ones you have... UNLESS you absolutely hate these. From what I can see the ones you have already look fine.

I would stick with what you have, unless you can return the old ones and get your money back.  These look nice, but if you can figure out what you are looking for, you can snazz these invites up.  Add ribbon, embellshiments, stamp, etc.

I have the same invites, except mine are chocolate. I ran into the same problem and have decided to just add a few more embelishments like a monogram and I picked a pretty, elegant font to make them feel fancier.

I agree with the other ladies. I would just add a few embellishments to dress them up. They look like nice invitations, so I would personally see what i could do with them before buying new ones.

My invitations were from Hobby Lobby and I used a wide silver ribbon to hold the package together.  I also bought a return address stamp and used silver ink on the outside envelope.  Or how about those melted wax initial seals?  I've seen those at Michaels.

i'd stick with what you've got - imagine where you could spend the $500 elsewhere in your wedding!
