How much are you paying?
I am just starting to search around for someone to do both, Hair and Make up. How much is too much? Not quite sure how much to budget for this item. I am in CA so not sure if it will be more or not. Please tell me how much you are paying and what you are getting done. Thanks!!

Do you really need a cake stand bigger than your cake?
I was wondering if any one has the reason why I need a bigger cake stand. My Bakery told me that she is going to use a 14" Board for the bottom Tier. When I looked at a cake stand site they said that for a 14" cake I need to buy a 16" stand. Why?? I have 2 pictures one with an edge showing and another without an edge showing. I like the clean look of no edge. The third picture is of the cake I want. Please let me know if you have any inside information on this problem. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone has tried this instant up do? I found this on ebay and it seems like a really easy way to put your hair up. Here is the link I found.

2nd Dress??
How many of you ladies are going to have a 2nd dress? Is this called a reception dress? I originally said "no way" to this idea but, lately I am really liking this idea. My ceremony dress is going to be rather large and I like the idea of having something a bit more light and easier to move in. I was thinking about this ivory and gold dress.
So those of you having 2 dresses are you sticking to just white or Ivory? Going with Color? Going Short? Thanks for your help/ |

please help me decide
I need help ladies. I am sure you all went through this too. I have an ivory dress that i am embroidering around all the lace in gold thread. I am also going to have a gold ribbon to lace up the back of the dress. my crinoline is going to be red.
OK now here is my dilema. Should I wear red shoes or should i go with the gold shoes?? I found these awsome shoes that i want to get if I choose the gold ones (Louboutin's) I have never had a pair and I thought this is the perfect occassion to splurge. Plus they have a touch of red on the soles. or should I stick with the red shoes I already bought for $40?? decisions, decisions. |

Thumbprint Tree Guestbook
I saw this unique idea. It is a Tree that your guest leave their thumbprints and sign their names. I am only having 50 guest and I am not sure if that it is enough thumbprints to fill up the tree. I bought this necklace on Ebay and just had to share it. It is made of silver and Garnets. I paid $130 for it. I am looking for earrings to match it now. It is just the right length and looks so good with my dress.

Maid Of Honor's Dress Picked.
I found this great dress on where else.... Ebay Got it for $15.. It is from David's Bridal in Apple Red. The Shoes are from JC Penney. Jacqueline Ferrar on sale for $39!! Plus I searched the internet for a coupon code and got an additional 15% off. But, I had to pay shipping so it equaled out. I also found a matching Shawl from David's Bridal on Ebay for $10.
Entire outfit for $65!! Just found a matching david's bridal purse for $12!! |
