Wedding Dress
I bought my dress and it was a STEAL!!
I went to our local Alfred Angelo salon and tried on dresses. I fell in LOVE with a dress (of course). I could not bring myself to pay $1000 for a dress I was only going to wear for a day, even if I was in love. So I went online and believe it or not I found the same dress on EBAY!!
Not only was it the dress but it was Ivory just like I wanted, it was exactly the size I needed and it was NEW with TAGS! She also had an Ansonia wedding veil (NWT) that she was including. This veil was $120 retail value. She also threw in a crystal bracelet from Macy's. She also offered FREE shipping. How much would you pay for all this?? Well she had a buy it now for $250!!! I bought it in a heartbeat and held my breath until it came. It is here and it is exactly as she said. Dress, new with tags (came in a Alfred Angelo Protector bag too). The Veil is even more beautiful in person it has scalloped edges and has crystals along the entire bottom and it came in a protective pouch, new with tags. and the bracelet. I tried it on and NO alterations are needed!! It was meant to be. I found pictures of the dress online. My dress does not have the blue but Ivory accents instead. Enjoy the pictures!! Red Charger Plates at Walmart
I know someone on here was looking for red charger plates. I found them today. They are 4 chargers for $5!! Very pretty red. They also have silver and gold. I just checked online and they are not listed. I found them in the christmas aisle.

Red Crinoline and Shoes?
I love the idea of a red Crinoline and maybe having red shoes as well. But, deep down inside I know my mom is going to flip. I am an older bride and believe me I should not care but, I do!!
When I was younger she did not even allow us to wear red nail polish because she thought it looked like a hooker. I have seen all the beautiful colored crinoline and I want one too. Since red is my color I thought well why not?? Until my daughter in law saw it hanging in my house. she asked me "is that for Halloween?" I said no this is for under my wedding dress. She gave me the strangest look and then said. THAT IS SO UN PURE! Now I am having second thoughts about my choice. What do you think????????????????????????????????????????? |

Wedding Shoes
Love these ones!!
I am in LOVE!!! These are the most beautiful shoes by Cole Haan. They are called Ceci Rose Sling. They are $450!! Does anyone know of any shoe that is similar? I can not afford to spend that much on a shoe. Plus these shoes have a 4 inch heel which is way too high for me.

Well here they are. We had a lot of fun doing them. We just got them in the mail today. Our photographer is going to colorize one image of our choice. Which one do you think? I am thinking of the main photo. Only because there is so much greenery he could enhance.

Wedding Reception
Our Reception and Wedding placed Booked!
Well, we went looking this weekend and found where we want to have both the wedding and the reception. Now keep in mind we have 26 months until our wedding. But, when we heard that both places had just booked up 10/10/10 we knew that the next date to go is 11/11/11 so we jumped in and put down a deposit to hold our date.
The good thing about this is that this not only holds the date but, guarantee's the price!! For 2 years!!! So we chose........drum roll please..... Eagle Glen Country club in Corona. We will be having the ceremony and reception there. This makes it so real now. Can't wait!!! |

Monogram and the Q!
I want a monogram and my new last name will start with a Q. The problem is that half of the fonts make the Q look like a 2 and the other half have a really long Q tail. I am having someone make it up for me and she is having a problem. I feel bad because she seems to be spending too much time on it for me. Is there anyone else out there that has a Q Monogram and what font did you use?

Lacing a Wedding Dress
I found this picture on the Alfred Angelo site. Is there anyone out there who knows how to lace up the back of the dress like this? I have tried to lace it under the loop, and over the loop and even 1/2 over and 1/2 under. It still does not look like the picture. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!
