The Proposal

of course its yes...

It was October 02, 2008, 2 days before my birthday. While at work I received a package from ProFlowers with a note that said…Pack your bags, were leaving tomorrow…

That night I got home from work and with the help of FH I packed my bags. He wouldn’t tell me where we were going or give me any hints. I was told to bring a bathing suits and a snow suit with hats and gloves. It was really fun getting ready for my surprise weekend getaway, he helped me pick out everything to wear after my fashion show.

The next day we woke up and hit the road, still now knowing where we were going. It was until we passed a sign on the thruway that said Niagara Falls, I put it together. When we crossed the border we checked into the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. We had an awesome view of the falls, our room had an enclosed patio, and you could even see the Falls from the hot tub in the bathroom. Once we were all settled in we went and walked around, went down to the falls, and just relaxed a bit.

The next day we woke up and we planned on going to do the “tourist stuff”. When I was already to go Dan called me over to the window and just hugged me from behind. He just wanted to enjoy the awesome view we had before we went out all day. Then he asked me if I thought this could get any better” and I told him it was perfect! Then he turned me and got down on one knee asking me to marry him…I just cried and hugged him.

It wasn’t until we were at breakfast and he asked it that was a yes…

Fun Fact: When Dan was hugging me from behind I could hear and feel his heart beat ing so fast…
