Still couldn't believe how fast the day flew by...now all is left is memories..looking back, there were several things i wish we could have done differently.
We had all these anticipations & expectations, all led up to that 1 day and now looking at some of the wedding pics, i love some of them but not completely in love with the rest. Centerpiece-DIY or Florist?Help Pls!!
So excited!!! We wanted to do crystal & orchid tree for our centerpiece. Recently, a friend of a friend heard about our situation who did us a favor & got the golden trees for us, each already set up in a vase base.
However, since it's so glittery already & due to budget limitation, contemplating of whether we should do: a) DIY with some artificial orchids ( see cream color stem in pic) and crystal strands? or b) Let the florist hand wire about 7-10 real orchids & scatter across the branches but no crystal strands? Our table linen is burgundy taffetta with gold chivari chairs (see pic). Should we use 1) cream orchids or 2) pink orchids or 3) red roses?? Thanks for your inputs! : ) |

Is this really that terrible? Your opinion?
Since my MOH is currently out of town, i forwarded her the picuture of the reception dress that was just bought last weekend.
Frankly, she didn't care for it and thought it wasn't flattering and disliked the material. She thought that I should've gotten Amara Royale and paid the additional $650. Honestly, started having second thoughts about this dress. Should I just forgo the $300 deposit and buy the other one at $1250, which would take 4-6 months to order (not sure if it'd deliver in time)? But man, that hurts! What would you do?? Budget or Dream dress?? |

Is it too plain? should I add anything to it?
Been looking around for a red reception dress. I loved the Amara Royale but budget didn't allow, been trying to find something in similar style.
Anyways, i tried on this dress (see pics) and FH loved it, and the price was less than 1/2 of Amara Royale. The sales lady was abit pushy & offered to include alteration fee. We ended up buying it same day but couldn't help & wondered if i made the right decision. Felt like an impulse purchase and uncertain. What do you think of this dress? Should I add a brooch at the hip? or sash with embellishment at the waist? |

Diamond & Ar Carving Wedding Band?
Bought FH's wedding band! Although it's not matching with mine, it's got some diamonds & art carving all around.
Does it look alright? Do you think the diagonal carving is abit much or just right? He is not one to wear much accessories nor jewelery. Any of your hubby-to-be picks out/ demand diamond band? |
