Where should I look for invitations?
Ok I need to start invitation shopping soon and I was wondering how many people are making their own invitations? If you dont make them where are you buying them from? We are inviting a good amount of people to our wedding so I would prefer to have someone else do all the work for me but I am also on a tight budget. I have also heard that people have RSVP websites, has anyone tried that? Anyways thanks for any input!

Jean M has gorgous invites!
I'm making my own, and Mountaincow.com has all the DIY papers one would need to do it themselves. I ordered quite a few catalouges, and was not impressed with the styles. 3-4 of my 5 catalouges had invitations that looked like they were from the 80's. However, as nice as Jean M's invites are, they are also pricey.

OOPS... posted that before I meant too... Anyway, this site has a lot to choose from, so even if you decide to make them yourself (which is probably what I'm going to do) this place will be able to give you a lot of ideas.

I remember your mom learned caligraphy for her wedding invites! Might be time for her to dust off her skills and start addressing now! ;-)

In any case, even invites you buy need some assembly (folding, stuffing, etc).  If you can figure out a simply way to make/print them, this might be a great place to save some dough.
