Honeymoon!
Our trip in Jamaica!
We went on our honeymoon right after our wedding but I haven't had a chance to post pics until now! We went to a Sandals resort in Jamaica. There is a picture of when Jeff and I went zip-lining across the Rain Forest in Jamaica also. (It's the pictures that we are wearing helmets in). Also there are random pics of the resort. The resolution is not too good on this website.

Here are some pics from my wedding and reception! I tried to put some pictures that showed some of my decorations. It went almost perfect! I have a few dramatic moments but it went well! Then we went to Jamaica for our Honeymoon which was sooooo fun!

Goodbye for a little bit!
Wedding in two days and then off to the honeymoon!
Well my wedding is almost 48 hours away, so I'm going to say goodbye for a little while. Immediantly after the wedding I'll be heading to Jamaica for the honeymoon. After I get back, I'll be sure to post pictures of the Big Day and Honeymoon.
We had our rehearsal dinner last night and at first I was sooooo nervous. But after we got into it and I saw that everything was going to be taken care of.... I felt so much better! I'm getting really excited now! Wish me luck and good luck to my fellow brides getting married this weekend and next! Talk to you in a week or two! |

4 Days Left!!!!
It's almost here... and I'm almost ready
Oh my gosh! I'm getting married this weekend! It's so close. Anyways, it hasn't hit me yet but I still have several things to do.
My parents came in town on Saturday, so we got so many things done on Sunday. My grandma was supposed to come in today but she is really sick, so hopefully she can come in tomorrow. I hope to have one more post before the big day. I'm leaving for my honeymoon right after the wedding so I'll have to post a week or two after my wedding! Here are pictures are things that have been done this week. Here are my finished favors. Here are the candy sticks with labels (really cut business cards from vistaprint.com). And here are the sugar-free favors of jelly bellys. Here in the tub of stuff that's going to the Chapel tomorrow that is for decoration. And the lid to the tub. Here is a list of where everything goes in the reception hall. Even though I talked to them about it, they have a reference list. Here is the binder I made for the wedding. It has all the important numbers and other lists for the wedding just in case something goes wrong. Here are my finished coloring books and crayons. There are still in the ziploc bag until I get to the Chapel. Here is the cross-stich I got last night from my stepmom. It's so beautiful and I love it! I'm almost done with everything. I have a few things left: -steam BM & finish wedding dress -make more sugar-free favors -finish reception music |

Hurricane Season
Wishing everyone a hurricane free honeymoon!
So my wedding is only 8 days away and my honeymoon to Jamaica is 9 days away! I'm keeping a close eye on the weather down there to make sure no huricanes are going to show up and ruin our honeymoon! As of right now, they are not predicting any problems... Anyone else going to the Carribean for their honeymoon this month?
My parents are coming in town tomorrow and now it feels so real! I'm giving everyone my final head count today and getting all last minutes details done this weekend! So excited! 9 Days, 5 hours, 0 minutes, 43 seconds til the wedding! |

Details, Details, Details
I'm finishing all the last details...almost 2 weeks away!
I got bellybutton rings to wear on my wedding day. I know that no one will really see it, but it's one of those details that I thought was cute! So I'm either going to wear the one that says Jeff or the one with the W (the initial of my future last name). I though it was cute and a cute surprise for Jeff. I also took a pic of the picture tree with all the frames that I'm going to use in front of it. I also added the matted frame with the engagement pic in it.
Things left to do: Favors- put together crayons- put together coloring books- staple together wish bowl- cut paper for it table decor- iron cloth that will go under the photo tree and wish bowl GET MARRIAGE LICENSE! flowers- make a game plan for preserving flowers steam dress & BMs dresses finish photo list for photographer Good News! I'm pretty sure I have a really good estimate for my final head count. I still never received RSVPs from 38 people!!!!! Warning for those who are sending our invites.... you will have to hunt people down! Anyways, thanks to our families, almost everyone was hunted down. So we officially have 102 people confirmed that are coming. There are still 10 people that we can't contact that we are not sure if they are coming or not. So I'm going to tell the Chapel that the head count is around 110. I feel so much better now that I have a better count. So Monday, I will call all the vendors and tell them the final head count. Oh my god, 15 days! I'm going to a wedding tonight, so hopefully I won't get any more ideas... I don't need anymore projects. |

I'm so happy!
19 days left!
So after all the drama, I finally got my dress back... and it's beautiful! After seeing myself in the final version... I wish I would have worked out a little more but it's almost too late to really worry about it. Anyways, the alteration lady did amazing work in the end! So the dress is locked in it's own room at my mom's house so that it can be spread out.
Second, Jeffrey is finally coming home tomorrow!!! He's been gone 6 out of the last 8 weeks! It's been hard trying to handle all this wedding stuff without him! Only 19 days til the wedding! Third, Jeff was actually on TV today! He was out dealing with the tomato/pepper crisis (he's an FDA investigator). All he said was "We have no comments" and he was smacking his gum!!! I guess he wasn't made to be a TV anchorperson. Everything for the wedding is going as planned.... and it's becoming so real!!! RSVP running total- 96 |

Should I have people sign a matted frame plus a wishing bowl?
So I'm using a matted frame for people to sign as my guestbook, but I've always loved the idea of having a wish bowl. I could have the frame on the guestbook table, and then put the wish bowl in the reception hall. I was thinking if I put it in the reception room, and people could fill that out while they are waiting for us to finish our pictures. I would just get the MC to announce to the guests to please fill out the cards. I would try to get pretty paper for the guests to fill out. So my question is, is it too much to have both a matted frame and a wish bowl?
There are several different poems I could set next to the bowl: As we begin our new journey a brand new Mr & Mrs We could surely use your advise and wishes. Share with us your wisdom about marriage, love & life, The secret to being a good husband or good wife. Jot down a memory a reminder of our day. A doodle or picture will do if you don't know what to say. Please don't forget, it would be such a shame don't drop your card in the bowl, without signing your name.
