SO MY FIANCE COMES HOME ON DEC 1 FROM IRAQ TO VISIT FOR 3 WEEKS, AND BOY AM I READY TO BE IN HIS ARMS. I MISS HIM LIKE CRAZY.
SO THE FIRST DAY HE IS HOME WE WILL BE LEAVING TO TAKE A WEEK LONG VACATION IN FLORIDA. I CAN NOT WAIT, AHHHH... WE ARE GOING TO PAINT THE TOWN RED!!!!
I WILL FINALLY BE GETTING MY RING THAT I LONG FOR LOL, I KNOW YOUR PROBABLY THINKING WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THIS GIRL., WELL ITS JUST THAT HE SAID HE WANTED IT TO BE SPECIAL, WHICH HEY IF TAKING ME ON A TRIP AND GIVING ME VIP TREATMENT IS THE WAY HE WANTS TO DO IT, IM ALL FOR IT. I THINK ITS VERY SWEET.
AT THE HOTEL WE ARE STAYING IN THERE IS A SALON AND SPA. WHICH I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT HE SET UP A WHOLE DAY FOR ME TO GET A MASSAGE, FACIAL, MANICURE, BODY TREATMENT, PEDICURE, HAIR AND MAKE UP DONE THE WHOLE WORKS. WHICH I AM SO VERY EXCITED FOR AHHHH.... I CAN NOT WAIT. IT FEELS SO UN REAL, ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE IVE SEEN HIM, THAT I KEEP THINKING THE DAY WILL NEVER COME. I HOPE THAT THIS NEXT WEEK IN A HALF GOES BY QUICK, CAUSE I AM SO READDYYY....

I WILL POST PICS OF THE TRIP WHEN WE GET BACK. AHHHHH..... I JUST WANT TO SCREAM.

I FOUND THESE DIAMOND CONFETTIS FOR MY TABLES AT THE RECEPTION. VERY CUTE AND BLINGY!!! NOT EXPENSIVE AT ALL. 500 FOR $3.50 IN ALL COLORS.

I WORK AT A PRINTING CO. AND I CAME ACROSS THIS SAVE THE DATE POST CARD. ON THE OTHER SIDE IT IS JUST LIKE A POSTCARD WITH THE ADDRSS INFORMATION ON IT. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT IDEA, UNIQUE AND FUN. IT GIVES A LOT OF PERSONALITY AND SHOWS YOUR GUEST HOW HAPPY YOU TWO ARE TOGETHER. WELL THAT IS WHAT I THOUGHT WHEN I SAW THIS. I JUST THOUGHT..... LOOK THEY ARE SO IN LOVE. ANYWAYS I JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THIS IDEA WITH ALL THE BRIDES TO BE WHO LOVE TO BE UNIQUE.

SO I AM NOT SO SURE ANYMORE IF I WANT TO WEAR THIS SASH AROUND MY DRESS I WANTED TO WEAR IT WITH THE TIE TO THE BACK. I HAVE PURCHASED IT ALREADY, BUT AS I LOOK AT IT I AM JUST NOT SURE IF I LIKE IT STILL. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I WENT TO TARGET A COUPLE WEEKS AGO AND FOUND THESE THERE. I HAVE SEEN THESE ONLINE, AND WANTED TO ORDER THEM. THANK GOD I DIDN'T, THEY ACTUALLY COST THE SAME AS TARGET, BUT TARGET COMES WITH 50 AND IF YOU ORDER THEM ONLINE THEY ONLY COME WITH 25. THEY ALSO HAVE THEM IN BROWN & TURQOUISE AND CREAM AND BLACK. I HAVE SEEN THESE POSTED ON A COUPLE OF PEOPLES BLOGS AND JUST THOUGHT THAT I WOULD LET YOU KNOW BEFORE YOU ORDERED ONLINE.

SO THIS WAS MY FIRST ATTEMPT ON MAKING A POMMANDER BALL FOR THE CEREMONY. I THINK I DID AN OK JOB . I DO WANT TO BOW THE RIBBON, BUT DIDN'T DO SO. I ALSO THINK IT NEEDS MORE FLOWERS. OTHER THAN THAT I THINK IT TURNED OUT EH... OK. I ENJOYED MAKING IT THOUGH. SO THAT IS THE MAIN THING RIGHT?

SO THIS IS MY NEW PROJECT THAT I WILL BE ATTEMPTING ON MY OWN. SEEMS PRETTY SIMPLE, BUY THE LETTERS AND SPRAY PAINT RIGHT? WELL I THINK ITS VERY CUTE. I THINK I WANT THIS AT THE CAKE TABLE, IF NOT OUR TABLE. HMMMM....

These are my Brides maids and my maid of honor. I love them all so much. There is one missing but she is due for labor. So that didn't work out to well with my day I planned for us.



I actually had a day of beauty for the girls. I had a Mary Kay lady come and we did all sorts of beauty things hand treatments, lip treatments, facials. It was really nice to have all my fav. girls around me I love them all so much. We had such a great time especially after margaritas in our systems. We all got together afterwards got ready and went out for a night on the town. All made it except the two friends that I have that are pregnant at the moment. Either way it was a great day. I had the best night. Couldn't have asked for more.

JUST AN IDEA. SINCE I WILL BE HAVING AN OUTSIDE WEDDING AND THERE IS NOT MUCH NEED FOR DECORATING. I FIGURED THIS WOULD BE REALLY CUTE. I THINK I WANT THEM HANGING IN THE TENT BUT NOT SURE YET. HMMMM MAYBE ON THE TREES.

Well I have changed my mind for the knee length dresses I decided to go with the long dresses, just cause my girls are not so tall and when they tried on the knee length dresses and well lets just say the longer ones are a lot better. I LOVED THE WAY THEY LOOKED IN THEM.


So these are the dresses that might just be for the bridesmaid. I haven't yet made this final. I've showed a couple of girls already and they have approved to wear them. The first black one will actually be for my maid of honor and the other two for my brides maids. I love the tube top and knee length style so we'll see maybe I'll find something even cuter. What do you think ? If you see anything this style definitely send me a link.

This is a pic. of what my cake will be based on. It will be a round cake with white frosting as the base color with either black swirls or the way it is in the pic. I think also instead of cake topper I just want teal lillys to cascade from the top to the bottom but not too much. I think a couple on each layer would look nice. Not sure of any flavors yet. That I want to choose with my Fiance. Hopefully when he is home on leave we can choose that.

The flowes that I want for my bouquet are Calla Lilly, I think that I might want want the ribbons wrapped around it to be black and teal. Not sure yet though. I Havent gone to a florist yet, since I still have time for that. But for sure this is what I want for my boquet. They kinda remind me of the bottom part of my dress.

I picked out a few dresses, but this was the one from the beginning that I fell in love with. My style you can say is simple and classy. I dont like to over do it to much. There is acutally a teal sash that I got to go with the dress. Looks really cute around the waist. But for some reason they didnt have the pic up of it anymore with the sash. Oh well, but my favorite part of the dress is the back. I love the wait it ties down. Ahhhh I can say that picking out the dress and trying it on was very scary. You know just made it that much more real. I can say I wanted to cry somewhat, I couldnt stop thinking of my fiance. Just the thought of how much I love him and how I hope that he is ok and that he comes home safe to me.

The colors I chose for my wedding were teal, black and white. My reason I just really love the color teal. I think it is a beautiful color. Nothing more to say.

I remember when I would drive to my aunts house to visit I could never take my eyes off this beautiful house. I would always see people there celebrating something, but couldn't really tell since it was gated off. I always thought to myself how I would love to get married in a place like that. So the time came for me to start planning my wedding. The first thing I did was look up the place to see if it held events. Thank god it was, I quickly sent the link to my fiance who is currently deployed at the moment. One week later he told me to book it. God I love him. This place is called The Plantation House and it is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. Ahhhhh.... I can't wait!!!!
