My FH and I completed our first gift registry yesterday afternoon. All I have to say is that I have never quite had so much sensory overload as I did yesterday! And I've been to Vegas three times!!!! The scanners alone make you feel like a god among the kitchen gadgets.
My FH had no problem scanning anything and everything. For me, I was "well, we all ready have something like this," or "we don't really need that." I'm naturally a pretty thrifty person and I have to think about things before I do them. My soon-to-be-husband...doesn't have that problem. He's more spontaneous and ask questions later. I would stare at a product and try to rationalize scanning it, while he would come over and scan it right in front of me. "Honey, it's not what we need! It's what we want!!!"
Oh yeah!
After about 10 minutes, I was a scanning fool!!! It was actually pretty fun!! Up next: Target.
