For the Newlyweds
What are you doing now?
Wow,
I haven't been on here in a good while and I see a whole new group of faces. I was wondering for those of us who have been on here & have since have married..... how is everyone doing? who has babies on the brain or not on the brain? how are you adjusting to married life? I have definitely been a changed woman since getting married! I have been on the nest, but I can't help but think about my girls on weddingbycolor. I miss all the amazing ladies I met on here, shared ideas with, and got to know. Does any one have a blog? Mine is: http://liz.pmccomb.net/blog Hope everyone is doing well! |

We need Help!
Please Vote!
My husband and I entered a wedding photo contest in my local hometown newspaper. We have the chance of appearing on a magazine cover for our hometown and a $50 gift card to a very nice restaurant. We need votes though to pull through and make it on top! So, please please, if you could support us, we'd greatly appreciate it!
Please give us a 10! ;) http://advocate360.upickem.net/engine/Details.aspx?p=V&c=9654&s=1533055&i=1&r=425153 THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! |

Married!
We've been married for one month now....almost hard to believe.
The wedding was amazing. The honeymoon was heaven (except for the car accident. But no worries - no one was hurt & we were not at fault). Life has been busy. We're getting ready to head back into fall semester of college and I am in the midst of changing jobs. But, we always find time to enjoy each other's company. Life is good! :) For details about the day: http://liz.pmccomb.net/blog/ |

Ask a Question
Best Waterproof Mascara & Eyeliner?
What is the best waterproof mascara and eyeliner for the tears of joy on the big day?
I haven't bought waterproof in years. It always seemed to clump up my lashes and somehow, still managed to smudge. I have a feeling I just wasn't using the right products. Please give me suggestions! :) |

Feeling 100x better!
Back in Wedding Mode.
Thank you to everyone who sent their supportive comments my way. It's been a very emotional time for me and the process was becoming a bit overwhelming. However, I am now all smiles and pulling it together to have a wonderful wedding day, relaxing honeymoon, and loving marriage. Sometimes all the details blur your vision and you lose focus on what is really important and that is simply Phillip and I's relationship and marriage. As the time is growing closer, I am growing more & more excited and am now ready for all that is to come!!
Thank you again for your amazing words of kindness. You ladies are wonderful! ? |

I can't believe it! 2 MONTHS!
How do you deal with the pressure?
Last night I tossed and laid awake in bed going through wedding "to dos" in my head. Thankfully school is over for the summer and I can now concentrate on work, wedding plans, and setting up house.
My FH and I have not found a place to live yet. We're debating about buying or renting. Neither one of us have a gut feeling that she should make either decision. Unfortunately, time is running out and we need to find a place to call home. This is probably the biggest stressor I'm facing. I'm also living in a different state than we'll be residing in and I'm having to switch everything over to my new state and my new name which seems so complicated. I wish wedding and marriages came with "how to" lists. I feel so lost. There are still wedding things that need to get accomplished. I have this awful feeling that I'm forgetting to do so much. I bet my bridesmaids and vendors think I'm procrastinating or ignoring them, but I feel like I have a bazillion million things going on and it seems like I can't keep up. Ah, I'm really really looking forward to my shower and wedding day, but I hope this wedding anxiety/stress goes away!! |

Flowers...
Starting to come together
My mother and grandmother are wonderful and have been working on my bouquets and the boutonnieres and other flower details. The results are looking great and I can't capture a good picture with my camera, but they look really good in person.

As the day gets closer...
the bride gets busier! busier! busier!
Wow,
With spring semester out of the way, I am in shock that I have a mere 67 days (about two months) til wedding day. I haven't been focused on wedding planning much lately, so it is time to whip into action! Not only that, my fiance and I have to find a place to live & super fast. It's a little crazy of all that we have to do, but now that school is over for the summer, I can focus my time after work towards wedding details. Really, all that is left is "minor" things. Probably, the biggest thing of all is that my future husband and myself will be packing up and moving to our own place (wherever that may be?). Let's hope we find a place to call home and soon! :) I'm feeling a bit unorganized and overwhelmed. Wedding details, changing the last name, moving. How do you other brides do it?! |
