Wedding Veils
Hi Ladies,

Just curious as to how many of you are going to leave you veil on during the reception. Mine is a single layer (no blusher), finger tip length, satin trimmed veil. I haven't yet decided whether I should leave it on, or take it off after pictures...

What do you girls think?

I'm 90% sure I'm taking mine off for the reception.

I'm taking off my mantilla style veil after the ceremony & replacing with a birdcage style for the reception.

I am wearing a birdcage style veil for my photos and ceremony.

But when I change into dress #2 for reception.  No veil.

I was married 20 years ago (for the first time) I loved my veil...so I kept it on.  What a mistake.  All those hugs etc just pulled and pulled and when the night was over and I removed the small ponytail they make to secure veil had all my hair broke off.

My mother will kick my ass from here to kindgom come if I take my veil off at ANY point... lol.

She has this THING about brides taking their veils off... she hates it!  So I can't do it.

I'm sure at some point I will wish I could... but I just can't.

Besides, it IS part of the look of a bride... may as well enjoy it!

Good question, I honestly never thought about it!  I'll most likely take it off at the reception.

im going to leave mine on...as long as you wear one that wont pull or snag  and make you uncomfortable why not just keep it on.. its the one and only day your ever going to wear it. it completes the look ! :)
