Wedding Reception
Getting ready for our Second Wedding Reception in Milwaukee!
I am getting ready to head to my hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin for our second wedding reception being hosted by my mother.
Though she is handling everything on her end, we will be providing some items so our guests can enjoy pictures and other things they missed because they were not able to come to the wedding in Baltimore. Honeymoon
The most important part of the wedding!
Punta Cana was wonderful-- Truly relaxing!
It was so important for us to have this time together, alone, away from everyone. We did both did sick- it comes with the territory of the island- But I have a fabulous time. We were in bed by 9pm everynight and up by 7am! We felt like an old maried couple, but we came back last night refreshed and renewed! |

I'm BACK!!
Wow What a Wedding!!!
Hey Ladies
I am back and I want to tell you I had a fabulous wedding!! All of the hard work really paid off! It was a blast!! What went well?? I was so relaxed and happy- My friends thought I took Valium (ha!). I didnt scream, get upset, cry, I was on point! The flowers from the mom and pop shop truly were the best!! They were creative and fun!! I am glad I saw a tester prior, Make sure you see a tester prior During the reception we had a Michael Jackson Tribute which was SO HOTT!! There were a few snags- First, the seating arrangements were messed up. My hubby's folks complained something terrible that they were separated from each other and that we showed favorites to non-family members! It was not nice. What can I do now? Nothing, its over. I apologized the next day and kept it moving. Second, app. 10% of our guests did not show for various reasons So, it is what it is. I believe I did everything to assist in getting folks there, but life happens. This is the only picture I have so far of the night, It's us in our hotel room after a night of partying! I love my hubby! |

I am so excited and wanted to add my last entry as a single woman.
I will be walking down the aisle to the love of y life this Friday at 6:30 p.m. in front of 220 of our closet family and friends! My prayer for our day will be things will run smoothly and EVERYONE will have a great time with good food, delicious drink, and marvelous music! On my honeymoon I am looking forward to reconnecting to my hubby, rewarding each other, and relaxing!! Thank you so much all for your assistance and ideas!! Wedding Reception
The Seating Chart is the DEVIL!!
I thought it would be SO easy!!
Boy was I wrong! Five days away and we have 5 people that we cannot seem to place anywhere! I never thought my FH would want to be so involved with this process, but he is all in it and feels "Oh, no we can't separate Aunt So & So from her sister!" Blah, Blah, Blah-- I say the hect with it!! I'm ready to do open-seating or remind my fiancée it's about making new connections at the wedding, not sticking with the old ones. We havent had an argument in a while; but boy did we have one over the seating chart! AHHHHH!! |

Flowergirl Gift
An item to remember for a Flower Girl
I headed the Things Remembered picked up a Thank You water globe for my flower girls gift. I had it engraved Personalized and Youre the Best!
Thank goodness they were having a sale!! Our flower girl is a little older; she will most likely not be a flower girl again. I wanted her to have something she could remember her experience. Its cute, not a baby gift and something she would not mind having for a lifetime. |

Out-Of-Town (OOT) Bags
Celebrating Baltimore with my out-of-town guests
I am finishing up my OOT bags to be delivered to 4 hotels by Wednesday of next week.
The bags are re-usable cloth bags I brought from Papermart.com. Each has a Charm City feel to them and are filled with items that are Baltimore favorites: Utz Potato Chips (Though made in Pennsylvania, its a regional favorite) Old Bay Seasoning and Crab Cake recipe Goetz Caramel Candy Otterbein Cookies Of course we added two bottles of water with personal labels and a Thank You note. The total cost of the project for 30 bags was less than $100.00 because one of my hostesses husbands works for McCormick Seasoning and got the Old Bay at a discount. I hope our guests like them!! |

The Bachelorette Party- Mourning the End of a Single Sista!
Before my bachelorette party, I was only told to put together a white outfit. Little did I know my party had a themeI was in white, while my friends wore blackThey were mourning the end of my single hood.
They got together and made a list of stories and tales from my escapades as a single woman to be told! It was hilarious! No strippers for meI dont want anyone elses sweet meat in my face but my hubbysWe had a hummer limo, had dinner and went dancing!! We had a great time! Its Monday morning and I am still home recovering! My FH and 10 of his buddies headed to Miamis Southbeach for his bachelor party weekendHe returned safely last night and told me he had a blast! |
