I had a very resting, relaxing Sunday but Saturday I definitely kept busy!!
On Friday my fiance and I went to three stores trying to find bankers boxes. I wanted to start organizing my wedding stuff into labeled boxes for both the ceremony and reception. I'm planning on making this as easy as I can for those people I will have setting up. I'm way OCD about "where things belong". I'm not a fan of too much clutter, so it was time to box it up. I only had about 4 boxes at home and they were beginning to overflow.
Also, I finished my DIY Unity Candle. I had previously posted the glass candle holders that were complete. I added the velum paper wrap to a white candle so this is done and put away. I let the ink on the velum paper dry in a safe place for awhile, cos the last one I tried smeared. UGH! So, warning if you are doing one yourself as well!
Lastly, I started and finished my bridal suite glasses. I don't know if you can really see in the pic, but one has an "M", another a "C" and a "bride one". The rest all are plain polka dots, black and pink. These are ridiculously easy. I see them kinda pricey on Etsy, but I bought 8 glasses at Walmart for $5/4-pack and the glass paint was a couple bucks at michael's. And DONE.
Happy Monday WBC Brides!!
So what are you going to use the glasses for in the bridal suite?
Boxes great idea!
@Kendra - For the circles, I used a q-tip and just slowly swirled in a circle. Keeps them pretty round. And I'll be using these in the bridal suite to drink! LOL... I think instead of the standard mimosa's that most brides do, I want a champagne punch. Ya know with the sherbert, OMG ;)
